  1. Hmmm, nope, no "beater" anything, I like to fish with my stuff, I do have "foot patrol" gear but that's because the rods are two piece but by no means they are "cheap" .
  2. Glad to see I'm not the only one that keeps his old junk forever and ever.

    A Treasure

You can bet it's harder to find the box than the lure.
  4. I do not collect old rods and reels, I just keep my stuff.
  5. Personally I would go Berkley lightning because I HATE the "PowerHumpGrip"
  6. Dang, spring begins down here like two or three times a week ....
  7. Nope, different animals. If it were my 300 I would go e-baying and get me a Steez.
  8. Hmmm, something like this ? Oh yes, they can nest on ledges.
  9. I guess spring is near for you yankee fellas.
  10. With both reels at 150 it's a no brainer, get the Curado.
  11. I Am Done Buying New Lures!
  12. I've caught literally thousands of fish with original floating Rapala minnows.
  13. I've caught thousands of bass with chrome.

  16. I think you are in the wrong sport if you feel bad.
  17. Mowing the snow ..... interesting concept.
  18. Oh well, if you find one ant it looks like crap you can always have it painted and make it look arse whupping, TDZs accept a lot of spool upgrades, I wouldn't change mine for anything, yup, you heard it right, actually I sold a brand new Shimano Calais 100 A and got me my first TDZ.
  19. Them boaters don't get it, nothing can teach you more about structure than actually stand on it !
  20. There is no 7 ish gear ratio in the TDZ line up, the high speed model is 6.3:1
  21. Get it, it's a great little reel and for 200 a no brainer.
  22. Any Curado would need to turn into an Antares to be up par with a TDZ. The only real upgrade the reel benefits from is a drag pad change to Carbontex since the original wet drag system tends to "stutter" if submitted to a lot of pressure. I own several of them.
  23. You want more thump from a Colorado purchase a Cupped Colorado from lurepartsonline ( formerly Stamina Inc ), change your regular willowleaf blades for fluted willowleafs or wide willowleafs.
  24. ARDENT -----> EEEEEEEWWWWW !!!! as we say in Spanish: Guacala !
