Well, "elaborate color schemes" are a thing of today, not long ago color schemes were really simplistic and still today some companies remain true to those simplistic finishes ( like Heddon ), I may love the way my Megabass Pop Max popppers look but .... I don't see them catching more fish than those decades old now skirtless Hula Poppers I got.

In-line spinner, that was my first confidence bait, I've caught literally thousands of fish with it, interesting, I still get "the look" from "more experienced" fishermen when I pull out an in-line spinner from my tackle box .... s*t, maybe they know something I don't ....

I don't purchase tackle to fish, I've fished with pretty much the same handful of lures that work for me almost all the time everywhere I've been to for the past 3 decades, yes, beolieve it or not, there's tackle that works practically everywhere, it ain't the arrow; I purchase tackle because I like it, hunting for lures is fun ! And hobbies are supposed to be fun, holes into which you sink your money, some people like bikes, others like to excercise and so on, one of my hobbies is purchasing tackle.

Dropshot is NOT A LURE ! Spinnerbait, lipless crank and that senko.

I own a ton of senkos and hardly ever use them and I would rather tie something else when I'm forced to fish with soft plastics and it's hard for me to recognize: 1 they catch fish, 2 they are idiot proof. I avoid them most of the time but every now and then I tie one ..... and ....... my second largest ever was caught with a 4 inch Dinger.

Send it to DVT to have it done by someone that really knows what he's doing.
