  1. How come spinnerbaits and senkos are "bottom baits" ?
  2. thousands of bass caught on those are testament of truth..... btw, it don't matter what is the forage base and if it's from ultra clear all the way to downright plowable muddy water. Tandem is a good combination of blades.
  3. spinnerbaits, in-line spinners, lipless cranks, soft plastic baits, jerkbaits, depending on how deep is the pond diving crankbaits.
  4. Firetiger, why ? Because I like firetiger.
  5. The only lures I tie with a snap swivel are in-line spiners and I use good quality snap swivels, not the kind of junk you usually find. You can tie a good quality snap and you won't need to learn how to tie loop knots ( which if not tied and tightened properly can be worse than those cheap snap swivels you've been using ).
  6. How far will a senko sink ? how far is the bottom ?
  7. Caught while having a lunch break, I do fish for carp ocassionally.
  8. But he don't move here so he gotta head back north ....
  9. Of course you can stand up, the thing is flat just don't try to make a turn at full throttle.
  10. And on the 8 th day the AllMighty, said: "let there be bass fishing" .... and North America was created. Wanna hear the good news ? we got Northern Bass strain ( ya know for those poor fellas that can only decently fish for bass part of the year bfrore freezing their rear end during the winter ) and Florida strain for us the southern folks that are blessed with warmer climates and can bass fish year round, that don't mean we don't have Northern strain too.
  11. Oh yeah, cloudy days will be gone in a few weeks leaving us with clear blue skies, blazing sun and high 70's/low 80's temps ....... oh sorry, wrong part of the planet .....
  12. How do you know they are bass ?
  13. Neither braid nor FC "expire" since they are impervious to what usually destroys other fishing line like nylon, which if not kept under the right storing conditions can degrade, excessive dryness, exposure to ozone or to direct ( UV light ) for extended periods of time causes nylon to become brittle and stiff.
  14. Still got 2, both Samsung, both Tantus, 21" and 29", the picture quality and the sound system in both is very good, I'm not going to sell any, they are stored at my mom's house.
  15. Mine: https://www.gamespot.com/images/1300-3173963 Done some changes, gave the PS4 Fat to my son ( he asked for it ) and got a slim instead, traded the X1 Fat for a slim, retired the GOW X360 for a X360E and retired the GC, got another modded Wii with a 1 TB HDD that has Wii and GC games ( plus NES, SNES and GBA games ).
  16. Well, usually about half an inch of 5 dollar bills is enough for several strippers ....
  17. Now, that looks comfortable ....under a huge umbrella with a cooler filled with beers and
  18. If I were a die hard carp fisherman I would seriously consider both, but I'm not, not that I don't like carp, they can be serious contenders but sitting on my skinny butt for hours waiting for them to bite goes against my hyperactive nature, but I have nothing against casting a few lines while I take a break. Here's a pic of a nice un I caught while having a lunch break, it weighted like 14 lbs: Now back the subject, OP, you ate doing it wrong when you tell somebody they are doing it wrong.
  19. Well, we all know TDZ drag was the kryptonite of what, in other ways, is a stellar reel. Carbontex made one hell of an improvement in my Pixies.
  20. Man I must be in the minority here but my numero uno bait for wacky rigging is the lowly French Fry worm .....
  21. I prefer plowable water to clear, it's easier to catch fish in poor visibilty.
  22. Got 3 of those, you know, the voices ...... I only got 1 SS SV, the voices weren't as loud ....
  23. Rod tube.
  24. That's the exact same one I got, still new in it's box; now you only need the SV shallow spool, the 105 was the shallow spool model.
