  1. i actually enjoyed the Fuel TV card last night more than UFC 148.. weidman/munoz showcased weidman, beltran/tehuna was incredible...and i enjoyed the majority of the card. I wish FOX would ditch its efforts with Fuel and feed more events to FX.
  2. that just made me missed Pride haha
  3. I have no complaints on the PPV card.. Anderson/GSP headlined events suck over all... Basically Cung Le is probably not coming back unless he gets a creampuff, Cote has never done well in the octagon(he may get one more fight), Tito has been done for years and if Bader hadn't taken him lightly, tito would have been done earlier. I love Forrest but he looks like a guy headed toward retirement soon as well. I felt like this was a card that was win or get cut from the roster. I don't know if it will happen, but I would cut the majority. As for Chael.. the guy is a pressing lay and pray guy. He's hard to handle for most. He exposes weaknesses for sure. I think he's humorous, but not a champion. A quality gatekeeper if the judges are good. And though the fight was called rather quickly, its not the judges fault he just laid there, covered up and didn't move. If you want to survive..move and frankly Chael couldn't breath.
  4. this is Meyers Leonards combine stats that I found on a draft site. 30" no-step vert, 32.5" max vert, 19 bench, 11.34 lane agility, 3.41 sprint Leonard's stock has been on the rise lately, and his performance at the combine can only help. His 30" no-step vert will help him compete on the glass and finish lob passes from teammates. Benching 185 lbs 19 times is a testament to his strength and we already know he runs well for somebody that recently measured over 7'1" in shoes. Athletic centers are always a commodity in the NBA draft, and Leonard satisfies that criteria and then some.
  5. I will be watching via means other than me flopping out 50 bucks. I've got Silva winning this fight. I don't think Sonnen will be able to get his lay and pray style in full effect now that Anderson has seen it once. That and Sonnen looked terrible against Bisping in his last fight. Silva is just smooth and seemingly motivated to shut chael up.
  6. Sullinger plays smaller than his size and the back thing freaks people out. Leonard was just a combine freak
  7. Quality shooting entering the NBA is only moderately important.. there are plenty of players that couldn't hit the broadside of a barn and learned to shoot after entering a few seasons in the pros.
  8. I really enjoy the NBA draft. It's hilarious, its rowdy, and it shows how little draft preparation is really used. The first round is pivotal in the fact that there is a garaunteed contract, the second round is a complete joke. Yet, I watch the whole thing. New Orleans, Boston, and Golden State did a spectacular job. Doing a good job maximizing their picks. I thought they balanced needs and talent acquisiton nicely. PJ3 is the steal pick of the draft..He goes to a loaded OKC...fills a need on the bench... now its up to him to perform and with good opportunity to do so. The big I don't understand of the draft was Dallas. I know they are gunning to free up money for Deron Williams and didn't want to put money into rookies, but I'm not someone that is drinking the championship koolaid of 2011. The team has a lot of age at multiple positions. BULGING DISCS
  9. exhaustive persistance... usually a football jig/trailer or set up a senko
  10. I usually avoid peak usage times and pay attention to my favorite lakes tourney schedules.
  11. last night i caught a little american ninja warrior... one of the contestants was current Titans player Kamerion Wimbley... his size got the best of him...he completed the course, but his slower time eliminated him... still darn impressive for a 255 lb dude.
  12. raider nation, well my team is the Titans and I optimistically see 7-9. Not really a step back, just a tougher schedule and I'm not sure how they handle the first 4 games. Especially when the D has to mature. Offensively, I hope to see improvements in the running game and more big play opportunities.
  13. how many of y'all have been staring at the schedule and wondering how you're team is going to do? I miss football season haha
