  1. I am in Augusta, GA and am currently shopping for a kayak... You can text me details 706 910 7780
  2. I've got a similar boat that I have on a Harbor Freight trailer, bought some threaded rod and put one end in trailer and the other through 2 bunk boards that the boat rests on inside the pontoons - had to raise the pontoons above the fenders...
  3. Don't stress about it - you bought that thing to fish not to win a beauty contest - or get a keel guard... or power poles... or a friend to hold the boat for you
  4. I just recently sold my boat for $1500 that would fit the exact need you have - they are in high demand and it didn't last long...
  5. I was very impressed with how Tharpe handled that mechanical issue - handled it like a true professional.
  6. I would follow Takahiro and fish close to him - I pick him because I think in a scuffle I might win... then after I caught some fish I would blast some 80s tunes from my jukebox and eat a honeybun
  7. that's a nice looking boat - thanks for the encouraging pump up speech about selling my boat
  8. BPS pulled out of its Augusta store because it said they didn't feel like our market could support it and Cabelas... i am pretty sure Augusta is bigger than Delaware.. Oh and now we are getting a Gander Mountain too - in yo face BPS!
  9. I hope I can get a little more!
  10. After recently inheriting a new to me boat I will be selling my older boat.. I have no idea what she is worth so I would like some input so I can be realistic with my asking price.. 1976 North American Fiberglass River Ox - 16 ft 1982 Johnson 35 HP tiller steer Minn Kota 50AT foot control TM flat front casting deck with carpet pedestal seat for front deck (2) Humminbird fish finders (older basic models) 6 gallon fuel tank 1998 18ft Lowe Galvanized Tilt Trailer Let me know what you guys think.. Thanks - Kevin Oh and make me an offer on that 1998 Tacoma so I can get something to pull that bigger boat.... ha ha
  11. I have a 16ft fiberglass v bottom boat that I am getting ready to list for sale.. It was my first boat and has served me really well... The hull actually handles lakes pretty well but with any chop you will get some spray.. I have this set up with a Johnson 35 hp tiller steer, 50lb Minn Kota on the bow with foot pedal (built flat casting deck and carpeted for front), have Humminbirds where I drive boat and at bow, 6 gallon gas tank will fuel all day.. I now have a 18.5 ft bass boat and the main diff is more storage, costs more to run, and goes faster... I will try to get some pics up.. Good luck getting started!
  12. Really would like to use some to get a chartplotter to use in the boat... My wife always refocuses my priorities - we are paying off our first adoption and hope to adopt again this year so that's what ours will be going toward.. So in a way all of it will be used to get me a future fishing buddy!!!
  13. sounds good guys, I appreciate the feedback and am going to work on it this week, hopefully take it out Thursday and be smooth as butter
  14. so my question is this.... If I don't repair the leak and just keep adding fluid, will the system need to be constantly purged for it to operate properly? Also, is there a chance that I might lose steering if not the hydraulic steering isn't functioning properly or will it just be hard to steer? Does that make sense?
