i have a rapala scale and it is way off with no way of adjusting. caught a "5.5"....checked my scale later against a freon scale (im in hvac) that is certifed scale and the fish weighed 7.4.........
Did the same thing two weeks ago except it was with hunting.
We had a doe rifle season here. I got up early drove down to where I park in the back of this field. And could barely make out some deer standing in the back of the field. I thought boy this is going to be easy. Jumped out of my truck threw on my jacket reached for my gun............where's my gun.......
I'm still pretty new here but I also play guitar am on several guitar forum. I have traded and sold $2,000 amps and guitars several times. NEVER ship an item unless u have recieved payment no matter how many post they have. Post count does not equal integrity.
surprise-15" inch worm fished a night tournament this year with a guy that drug some of those out. i laughed at him until he started catching fish......then sheepishly asked to borrow one.
disappointment- beaver style baits, i have fished with different styles a couple of times and have yet to catch a fish. probably just a matter of time though. i haven't given up on them yet.
pretty much nailed it here. i have a local creek that is full of smallmouth and are super easy to catch but they are small. biggest i have ever caught from there is bout 2lbs. com
In general smaller lures will catch more fish. At least in my experience, though it will usually be smaller fish. U can catch big fish on small baits too don't get me wrong, but u will get a lot more numbers in general with smaller baits
I've got probably half a dozen cheap combos over the years. Most recent was a brand new ugly stick with a zebco 33. Catch and find lures all the time. Some are rotten and no good but some just need new hooks and good to go.
If I have 200 posts by the cutoff date I will be in. Should make it I'm fairy new but pretty active. I've done this on a guitar website before it was great.
Lighter weight, increased sensitivity and casting distance. I don't know if I totally agree the later two but the argument is that the micros cause less line slap and more contact that will transmit bites better. I have noticed a minimal distance increase. But the big thing for me is weight. Takes a lot of weight of the end of the rod and feels a lot better in the hand
