  1. LOL the reasons you state are reasons I use sniper over invisix. No way in the world does sniper have more stretch the invisix! That stuff is like a rubber band which IS why i use it for leaders with my braids. The abrasion resistance is better IMO. Having said that It does have some stretch and i wouldnt call it the "best" in the abrasion category. For me its the best all around and i use it for about everything.
  2. bass pro will do the same thing
  3. I hate xl so i can probably give u some other lines that i hate for the same reason lol. Suffix elite is probably the closest with mccoy mean green right behind that imo. Havent tried the sunline. Out of curiosity what didn't you like about sensation? I found it handles well and is one of the lowest stretch lines in the market.
  4. i fish finesse jigs alot and like the tiny paca craw or yahamoto twin tail grub
  5. kistler klx for me. I have fished with a gloomis nrx and felt it was very comparable to the klx. I have some of the kistler micro magnesium also and while nice they are nowhere near the klx. I also have a soft spot for the bps carbonlites though i would rate them lower than the klx.
  6. megabass are $20-30.......rc are 7 plus a couple of dollars for hooks. Thats a pretty big difference......
  7. ive been playing since i was 17. Play all different styles. Love alternative rock. I play various strats and a prs into a mini recto.
  8. 7'3" klx mh fast/ lews team gold 7.1:1/ 16lb sunline sniper-gets the jig duty most of the time 7'6" mh carbonlite/ gold carbonlite reel/ 16lb sunline sniper- use this when im not carolina rigging with it. 6'9" kistler magnesium micro/ gold carbonlite/ 16lb sunline sniper- use this one for t rigs and love it for pitching jigs. im super accurate with it.
  9. carbonlite. I have one that i use for jerkbaits. it works great.
  10. bruiser baits rad shad!
  11. hmmm interesting. Those are my favorite, not because of the the frog hair just the design. Are u going to find another small silicone or going an all different route. Actually my favorite finesse jigs dont have small strands so it wouldn't hurt my feelings if the new ones dont have it. got an idea on time frame?
  12. i cant see the finesse, hippy or hair jigs on the site? anybody else having this problem?
  13. Lol I came in here to post that....... Beat me to it. Guess my order can wait a couple of weeks!
  14. oh yeah i forgot they carry a few at tackle warehouse just looked they dont have what im looking for. dang it.
  15. Lol that's a salesman pitch if I ever heard one.If I order 25 jigs( wich is about my average order) at a 20% sale 3.49x .2 =.70 cents .70 cents times 25 jigs=$ 17.50 that I will save.......that's quite a bit Now having said that I'm going to order some to get me by until then...
  16. Anybody know when they will have their next sale? I really need to get some more swim jigs
  17. 12 lb cxx and 12,14 lb sensation
  18. i met trey at the classic. Seemed like a very nice guy. Also picked up a klx there......It is absolutely fantastic!
  19. not entirely true, while i assume u are talking about the current black carbonlite reels (wich i hear are junk, never used one) the previous gold one's are HIGHLY sought after. they are still bringing the same price that they were new. Those are great reels. also to the OP they do make a moderate action rod in the carbonlite lineup that would be great for cranks if u are trying to stay with the same rod.
  20. at the top end i would get a klx, for a cheaper rod get a carbonlite. i have held the *** rods and they feel alright but have yet to fish one so i cant comment on them.
  21. top of the mouth is excatley where u want to get them!
