  1. I've got two on the way that I'm getting in exchange for a couple Rage rods that had messed up reel seats, 7'1" MH/F and 7'6" MH/MF. Hoping to get them today. As long as I get them by Friday I'll be able to put them to the test on Saturday. I'll post a review as soon as I do.
  2. Or Sunday.......... gotta steal one on the road!!!!
  3. I have both and it is definitely worth it to spend a little extra on the MB.
  4. That 6'10" M/XF is a very good shakyhead rod
  5. I hear ya...... Just saying that knowing Chris, he would be the guy to have one snap the line as he's swinging it in. Bye Bye bull shad.
  6. Another reason to buy St Croix... I have had to send in several Rage casting rods recently due to the reel seat and locking nut failing. I got frustrated with them and asked Megan in customer service if I could exchange them for the new Mojo's, and she said "no problem" and also offered to waive the return shipping. So I'm getting two new rods for only $15 worth of shipping. Hopefully I like the new Mojo as well as I think I will. Great company!!!!
  7. It's not like that's an expensive bait or anything.....
  8. Yes, get one!! If you wait until they have their sales, you can get the regular ethos for $39 and the micro for $59.
  9. I hear ya. Not sure what I would have done if I hadn't been gotten a scholarship.
  10. 2 words........ Baseball Scholarship!!! Plus it was a small state school so tuition wasn't that expensive.
  11. Franks and Beans!!!!
  12. The new Mojo is going to have the SCIII blank, and will have some newer guides. This is their replacement for the Rage (according to who I talked to at SC) and will start at $120.
  13. I plan on getting one next time they're on sale to use specifically as my bladed jig rod.
  14. 7' MH/F Carbonlite is what works for me.
  15. I've seen way too many 8+ pound fish kept out there. Fish that big aren't even that good to eat. For me there's not much better than a bunch of 16"-17" wally's. I've caught one Walleye in that size class, was when I was in the academy in Hutchison. Went to Cheney several evenings after class, caught one that easily went 7 pounds and maybe more on a chartreuse 3" grub. Hopefully she's still swimming around out there. Really wish I had taken a picture or at least had a scale/tape to measure her.
  16. I've seen 10+ pound fish in the shallow water when I wade for them during the spawn. Had one swim in between my legs a couple years ago that about gave me a heart attack.
  17. Cut right in front of me to catch that one didn't ya............ jerk.
  18. I use 2 different Shimano Crucials, the 7'2" M/XF and 7'1" ML/F.
  19. THIS ^^^^^^^^^
  20. St Croix. I don't have one, yet, but the 6'10" ML/XF Legend Tournament Bass would be an excellent option.
  21. Their mono is good, been using the BPS Excel for years. Not sure about the fluorocarbon though.
  22. You guys can eat dog doo doo....... I mean good luck.
  23. The new line of Mojo's has a 6'10" ML/XF spinning rod, I would definitely recommend that for drop shotting. Seaguar Red Label is a decent floro, Sunline Super Floro has been good to me as well. Never used their floroucarbon, but P-Line is supposed to be pretty good.
  24. I've been looking forward to getting one. I actually have a rage that has a semi-loose reel nut, comes loose sometimes when I set the hook. I've been sitting on it, waiting until now to send it in and exchange it for one of these new Mojos. I guess it's about time!! And the old Mojos are now in the bargain room for $89....seems like they should be cheaper considering how much they discounted the Rage series.
