  1. Didn't get that big blowup on video??
  2. Same here. If it's really cold I'll wear jeans and thermals, but most of the time the thermals are enough.
  3. I've got the regular fishing parka and bibs. Paid regular price for them but they're very affordable so I didn't care. They're awesome!!
  4. In case anyone needs some quality rain gear. I have the fishing parka and bibs, and these are probably just as good of quality. http://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/h2o-xpress-mens-softshell-fishing-parka#repChildCatid=3858544 http://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/h2o-xpress-mens-softshell-fishing-bib#repChildCatid=3849001
  5. Like Bluebasser said, I have had the set for a couple years now. They are definitely both wind and waterproof. I've been in some pretty heavy rain and never had anything get in. The windproof feature is even more impressive, those cold wintry rides across Wolf are almost enjoyable wearing this stuff. And the nice thing about it being Academy's house brand, if you ever have a problem with it just take it back. I actually had to take mine back after a month or so because the buckle that the strap goes through on the back of the bibs had been installed upside down so it dug into my back. No questions asked. And these also come in WAY under your price range of $200. They even go on sale every now and then.
  6. If it was that spot toward the beginning of your video I would say that fish was 100% spot, and if any kind of hybrid a LM/Spot hybrid. Here is a fish that Clayton and I thought might be a LM/Spot hybrid from TR for comparison, not sure if it actually was but the jaw and some of the coloring made us think it may be a cross.
  7. So was it a Spot/LM hybrid or an actual meanie? An actual meanie at LOZ would be pretty rare considering smallies aren't very common. Or maybe they have become more common in the 10 years since I've been there.
  8. The 6'10" ML/XF is what you want for finesse fishing. It's my dedicated Ned rig rod.
  9. I've got 2 in 7.5 ratio. Fantastic reels!! It should do very well throwing weightless senkos.
  10. Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Ontario
  11. They were suspended around deep docks last week..... and pretty thick at the bridge.
  12. How do you get on that lake? My sister and her husband live in the Stoney Creek neighborhood directly across Ward Road from it and it looks like a really nice lake.
  13. Had a great week at Table Rock. Didn't get to take the boat out to fish as much as I would like, but we caught enough fish off the dock to make up for it. The size was actually pretty impressive as well, most everything we caught off the dock was a quality fish. Tried dragging a football jig, shakyhead, and Ned around the resort the first day without any luck. Finally I started skipping Ned under the dock in the stalls and started to pick up some fish. Figured out pretty quickly after that the fish were suspended under the dock chasing baitfish. Ned vertical jigged in the stalls and off the end of the dock was the best presentation for us. I caught a number of quality spots that way, my dad caught 2 really nice LM, and my brother in law caught a skinny 18" smallmouth that way. Even got my son to catch a few on his own. Went to the KC bridge the second day, didn't get there until around 10 am but as we pulled up a school of spots started blowing up right next to the piling. I proceeded to catch spots steady for about 10 minutes on the 90 plopper which was a blast!!! Managed to catch some topwater fish around the dock in the mornings as well. If the plan is to go to table rock for a trip in the spring I would highly recommend Lazy Lee's Resort for us to stay. This place was extremely nice!!!
  14. At that price you can spend $10-$20 more and get the mojo with SCIII graphite instead of the SCII.
