That is a nice looking fish and big as hell too I went out today to pick up some tackle I got zoom trick worms, senkos, and a storm swim bait. The whole reason i went out was to get some jigs and I walked out the store without them. Then when I get home and started fishing I realized that I forgot to buy them. Anyone know of any good ones I can get from a place like Dicks Sporting Goods or Gander Mountain?

I live in Jacksonville and I was out this morning from 9 to 11 and I noticed a bunch of bass chilling by the shore line it was weird. They weren't biting though. I only caught one 3lb but saw a least 6 or so close to shore

Those are some monsters man... I need to find me a place in Jacksonville that has some good pike and pickerel fishing

MCS did you end up catching anything this morning? My girlfriends mother came up for the birth of her first grandson so I am going to take her fishing in my backyard and hopefully she can catch a big one, she loves to fish

You caught an owl that is hilarious. I never caught a bird before but I was using a shiner and it flew off my hook and a bird caught it in mid air. But to have a bird on your line, let alone an owl, is amazing

I never got a chance to come out there I fell asleep. I was up with my girl until about 5:20am then I put my head down for a second and next thing I know it is 12:30 and time to leave the hospital

Idk what is more impressive the size of the head on the fish or that amazing paint job on the boat! You may be a little too old for this term but your boat is "swagged out" (that's a compliment)

You should take some pictures and show us some of the big ones you've been catching I have to get in some night fishing soon

I am gonna go pick up some junebug color plastics tomorrow on my way home from the hospital. Before I went home to get some things for my girl I was talking to a staff member here at Baptist South Hospital and he fishes. He said the pond on the emergency room side of the hospital holds some massive bass. So I went and picked up some things for my girl put the car seat in my car and of course had to throw my travel rod and my tackle box in my trunk. Since I have been up early as hell with my girl and my baby I figured I'd hit up that pond at around 5:30am and see if I can get anything. MCS if u happen to see this and u r gonna be fishing in the morning let me know and maybe we can meet up and fish here or at your publix spot. Let me know

Thanks man. I am not sure where u live but the publix is on batrum parkway in a big shopping plaza. There is a resturant called bono's and if you park in their lot you can get to the pond. And it is easy enough to put a kayak in so you wouldn't have a problem doing that. One day when you get back we need to fish man and you can show me some of your spots off of bay meadows
