  1. I have a tatula r and I really like it. It cast well and is smooth as hell. I will say if you have small hands you might not care for it.
  2. So I scored a 7' med. Casting Falcon Bucoo micro for $30 yesterday, my question is for the people who own one. What does it do well? It seems to have a pretty slow action so I'm thinking cranks, poppers and jerk baits . what do u guys think?
  3. 1/2oz dirty jig with a rage craw trailer, fished on a 6'8" mhxf cumara with a lews sst with power pro braid.
  4. The D&m is the best one I've thrown, much better then the z man in my opinion. On a side note the frenzy bladed jig is by far the worst I've used.
  5. I have a 7'mf avid and a 7'1"mh ***, the *** is in my hand a lot more. The *** to me just feels better.
  6. I agree, I like the faster reels to catch up.
  7. I ended up going with an ***, couldn't pass on the tw sale. I used the extra money on some 16lb shooter, a storm arashi, Rapala scatter rap, some trash fish Hitch swimbaits and some owner beast hooks lol. I do thank and appreciate you all for the input. Rod should be here tomorrow or the next day, I'll let u guys know what I think later this week when I get a chance to fish it.
  8. I got my type r for 138 shipped to my door. I can honestly say it's the smoothest best Casting reel I've owned. I don't own a Curado g so I can't compare. I don't know if it helps but I do own a lews speed spool tournament, gen 3 revo s and gen 2 revo s and it's better then those imo.
  9. So I have $150 to spend give or take on a new jig/trig rod. I'm looking for the most sensitive, well balanced rod I can get, I've been looking at a ***, Denali kovert, Kistler klx and daiwa tatula. I got a tatula type r reel to mount on what I get. Please lemme know your opinions on what I should get! Pros cons ect. Thanks!
  10. I'd get a 7'1" medium *** *** black
  11. I got an under armor one for $20 on amazon. Keeps me burn free and it's not hot at all. One thing I gotta do is wear my sunglasses off my face a little to keep them from fogging with it on.
  12. 6" Roboworm in margarita mutilated nose hooked works best for me here on clearlake
  13. A local store has 4 citica e's they never sold, they are $105 right now and will drop in price probably every 2-4 weeks now, so what I wanna know is at what price point do they become too good to pass up?
  14. Just got my girlfriend a 6'10 mlxf *** and cardinal sx for her first rod.
  15. 7'1" medium *** *** Abu Garcia cardinal stx20 20lb power pro with a 10lb flouro leader 3/16 or 1/4 Ball head unless it's rocky then I use a football head Roboworm or zoom trick worm greens or purples I like to fish it with slow drags and shakes maybe a hop or 2
  16. 1. Ranger 2. Lews 3. *** 4. Strike king 5. Red Bull lol
  17. I take 6 usually 2 jig/trig rods 1 med/fast spinning rod 1 vibe jig/ spinnerbait rod 1 arig/ Swimbait rod The last one is either an all around rod or my drop shot rod
  18. I dont trim mine, I just throw a keitech on the back and call it good lol.
  19. I use a 7'1" medium *** black and really like it
  20. I own a recon 2, ***, crucial, Powell max and I'd say the recon is the most sensitive. That said, I'd recommend the *** because the sensitivity us almost as good but balances better.
  21. So I'm getting a irod genesis 2 Bama special for my b day but won't have the money to buy a reel for awhile, think my citica d will hold up with up to 3 oz a rigs til I get the money for a lews super duty? And any opinions on the lews super duty? Thanks
  22. I must have got lucky with mine cause it's worked flawlessly for over a year and I've thrown everything from a rigs to weightless senkos with it. Mine is the 1st w&m one with the smaller knobs.
  23. Just picked up the 6'8" mhxf cumara tw has for $99 and got a lews tp for $77 off the bay, quite a nice setup for $180 bucks lol
  24. I'd check out *** *** 7'1 med, I have one and love it
