Got it. Its a jaguar!! I shifted my screen a little and I looked at the pic again. I saw the spots. That's one of the tells of a jag. Here look at this jag I caught one night and tell me if it looked like this?
This is cool, our friend Caylub from Alabama, just launched some feelers to try to get participation for an Alabama bragging rights thread. Let's lend him a hand in finding some Alabama BR members that you might know of.
Some us have been there, I don't miss it, that's for sure. Are you doing graduate or undergraduate work right now? Either way. 4-5 times a month of fishing is better than no times a month. Think it over and let us know on Fri if your in. If not, that's cool, keep on posting and following us.
LOL.. Dsidle I am still reading what you said over again. However, in the last 5 months that we all have been doing this we have never had a tie. Tie breaker for 10th place? For me, not a big deal. If it happens to be me and Zach, I will give it to him. Now if you're telling me tie breaker for 1st, that's a different story. We will have to come up with something if and when that ever happens. Just my humble opinion.
Dsidle you were about 15 min behind.... LOL. No worries. You are correct, that fish you caught makes it your 5th and it moves you to 9th with 88" WTG!!
Zach its you and me battling for 10th place LOL.
Better late than never. Here are week 4 standings:
1. RovingMutt 102"
2. FSTR 101"
3. Tighlines 98"
4. AK 95"
5. LMG 94"
6. JaxBasser 91.75"
7. Martin 89.50"
8. CutlerJay 89"
9. Bassinlou 75.50"
9. ZachD 75.50"
** Big fish still belongs to Mouldie, 9.3lbs
Congrats to the top 10. Remember the month is over on Thurs Halloween night. I will post final numbers on Fri and new contest will also begin Fri. Please do not announce intentions for next month til Fri on the new thread.
Costas come in 580(P) and 580(G). I have never tried the glass Costa's they are pretty $$ but I have owned the 580(P) for years and they are great. Speedbead hit on an important point. No eye strain or headaches when I spend a day on the water and I am wearing my Costa's.
I also realize that there are several brands that are pretty $$, and not everyone is as fortunate to own a pair, but there are other less expensive polarized glasses that will get the job done. I have a pair of Native's that are not that bad at all.
Hey funny guy!!... you know what I meant. It took me this long to post fish worthy of this comp. These are still very small for me, but hey it is what it is.
Bank fishing forum is a great idea. It is really needed? I don't think so. Like someone said earlier, pin it and leave it in the General Fishing Section. This topic will help a lot of people. I bank fish 80% of the time and tips and advice are always welcome. Great polarized glasses is great tool to have while bank fishing. They allow the angler to see many things that are vital in catching fish.
After some internal debate, I decided to post my biggest catches of last week.
This 14"r I caught at the park using a fluke.
This 14.5 chunk I caught in the Everglades this past Saturday. You can see what I was using in the pic. LMG if you see closely I had a weight stopper on it. Tx for showing me these little things. I love them.
Fishing has been tough for some, and pretty good for others. I am on the tough side. Although, this past week I have caught personally over 50 bass, that number does not mean much when from those 50, 0 would help in this contest lol. It sure was fun though. At the end of the day, that's what its all about. Fun.
