Ya Ive done some night fishin but most all mine has been at daytime. I wana start doin more night fishin. Should I focus mainly on one spot the whole night or move around? I know to use darker colors. What else?
I wouldnt give over a thousand seeing how old it is and what not. Check things like wiring, cracks in hull, gas tank, batteries, all this stuff can really add up if you have to fix. And never buy a boat without taking it by a trusted Marine mechanic and have him do a compression check on the motor and a good check of everything else motor wise.
I have a 1993 Nitro with a 1993 Johnson 115 and it seems like everytime i go fishing it takes too long to get the motor started. Then sometimes when I stop to fish a spot then try to start it again to move, it'll take a little while to start up. Why is this?
Let the fish tell you whether to fish it slow or fast. Try bringing it right next to brush also. pause it right by the brush then pop and you will get hit more often after that pause. Be sure that when the bass hits it you dont set the hook instantly let him take it then set the hook. You may be setting the hook too fast and pulling it out of her mouth before she fully takes it. Hope this helps!
So I cant afford to buy a really nice side imaging depth finder. Id love to and wish I could. But all I have is a Humminbird 535, pretty old model. How do I locate structure, brush piles, rock piles, under water bridges, etc with what I have???
