You're lucky to find one on craigslist, I've been searching for about a month now and I'm about to break down and just buy a new one. Do the seats move around at all when you take off at full speed with that 50lb thrust trolling motor? I've heard that can be a problem but maybe thats just with gas outboards...

I'm sure you'd get absolutly swamped on the take off. They're not made for fishing the size of lakes that most tournaments are held on, last time I was at the launch when a tournament was blasting off the smallest outboard I saw was a 115hp... that should tell you something

How would using it solo affect anything?

Has anyone put truck bed liner on the bottom of their boat? I was thinking about doing it since I fish a lot of rocky rivers. I know it will add weight and take away from some of the "speed" but would like to toughen it up though.

How do you have it hooked up? do you you have it in the front hooked into the in-hull wiring with the battery in the back?

Lots of great information and ideas on this forum. I've decided to purchase the 10e as soon as I can find one for a decent price on craigslist. I'm going to put a 50lb thrust foot controlled trolling motor on the bow. Anyone think this will pull too hard??
