  1. Not sure what your buddy grabbed, but it wasn't fish eggs.
  2. What tackle shop sells the tabs? The Dugout?
  3. I'd be interested in a few of the Bluegill Squarebills, if you sell them
  4. I pour my own heads for them, and don't have any issues with them running true. I've done very well with them for bass and crappie. Typically use a 1/8 or a 1/4 oz head, with a occasional 3/8 oz head for deep fish.
  5. I'm a big fan of the Berkley Havoc Grass Pig and Grass Pig Jr rigged with a weighted hook.
  6. I love their baits! Never had a bad one. They make a great bait at amazing prices! I believe you are looking for color 04 or 50 Fall Craw
  7. I love the Pflueger President Limited Edition reels. I have 4 of the 30 size now, and I'm planning to switch all my spinning reels over to the LE. It's a amazing reel for the price. Best spinning reel I've ever used.
  8. I've made a few dozen of these, pretty easy to make. I've caught decent fish with them playing around, mostly crappie, bluegill, bass, and pickeral.
  9. Same here, my PB is from Virginia at 9 lbs even
  10. Unless you have a few custom molds only you have, it won't be worth it. There's to much competition for the same baits from the same molds. Taxes eat a HUGE part of your profits, supplies take another large chunk. Makes lures for fun, not a living
  11. The Lake Whitehurst Fishing Station and Boat Ramp closed on November 1, 2009, due to Norfolk International Airport security needs and updated regulations issued by the Federal Aviation Administration. The City of Norfolk, which operated the station and ramp, has no plans to re-open these facilities. Current fishing access to the lake is limited to lakefront residents and their guests. The VDGIF suspended its management of fisheries in the lake in 2009 because of the loss of public access to the lake. For more information about the closure of the fishing station and boat ramp at Lake Whitehurst, please contact the City of Norfolk's Reservoir Manager at (757) 441-5678.
  12. fish anywhere in or near gatlinburg with a ultralight spinning rod, 4 lb test, and small crappie jigs or rooster tails and you'll do great on trout. I make the same trip every year, and the Little Pigeon River is loaded with trout
  13. For me, all my Spinning Reels are the Pflueger President Limited Ediions, For Baitcasting, it's Revo's
  14. Did you see any gators around? I know we saw a few signs mentioning them
  15. Yup, that little pond to the right of the entrance at the Clarion. Pond was maybe 2 aces with a fountain in it an directly across the street from the Kobe Steak House pond. I was throwing a jig, swimming it back, I had already fished the edges, and got nothing, so I took a few cast to the fountain where it was "deep" 6 - 8 feet deep. She about ripped the rod out of my hand, and after I set the hook, I couldn't control her at all, I was just holding on for dear life. She kept trying to jump, but he weight kept her in the water, with only her head getting above the water line. She finally wrapped me up in the pipes going to the fountain. My personaly best was 9 even, and after seeing her, I believe sh was 11 lbs or so
  16. That particular pond, was good for numbers as I caught about 20 a day there, but most were about 1 lb, best one from there went about 3 lbs. I fished across the street at the bigger lake, and only caught 3 but they were better ones going between 3 - 6 lbs. Fished the tiny pond beside it, in front of the other hotel and lost the biggest bass I ever hooked in my life when it snagged me up on the fountain in the middle. Fished down the street, just past that shopping center, and caught about 15 a day there with most going 2 - 4 lbs. Fished the shopping center lake behind the shopping center that one pictured pond is at, and only caught 4 but again 2 - 4 lbs. I stayed at that Comfort Inn, and fished the whole area, all day every day, had a blast
  17. Fish are bedding in Suffolk, been catching them for about 3 days on bed.
  18. If I'm not mistake, I fished that same pond on vacation from the 1st picture, just 3 weeks ago. Is that on Palm Pawy in Orlando beside the Comfort Inn?
  19. My latest creations
  20. I went out in Suffolk all this week. Found lots of cruising fish. Did hit up a smaller 10 acre pond, that had fish on bed. I'm hoping the rain Sunday/Monday doesn't ruin the fishing
  21. I went scouting on my local lake today. Sound a ton of bass cruising, a few were even paired up already. Water temps were between 59 - 63. I'm in Virginia as well
  22. The best jig (IMO) for wood is a Brush Head
  23. http://www.fishusa.com/product/Eze-Lap-Diamond-Hook-Sharpener I use this, it's the size of a ink pen, and works great
  24. What lake is this? Looks private, just asking as I live in the area and this lake doesn't look familar
  25. Not sure where Plant City is, but I just got back from Orlando, and I caught 50+ bass a day there on 3 lures: 1/4 oz brush jig w/ Paca Chunk trailer Berkley Havoc Grass Pig Jr w/ weighted hook Yum Dinger
