  1. I don't see how I could get in trouble as I was just looking for honest review on a cheap reel I found. I know nothing about the company. I have plenty of the Pflueger reels 2 Trions, 3 Presidents, and 3 President Limited Editions). I was mostly looking at a small ultralight reel for trout, crappie, etc. For bass I'll stick to my name brands. Thanks for your imput. I agree with the reviews onlne though with this company. All of them seem like inside jobs.
  2. I see *** on Facebook and online often. Has anyone tried their reels? I'm tempted to get one to try because the prices are great. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MA54PVJ?th=1&psc=1 The description sounds good, but I don't want or need a junk reel, but if it's smooth, and reliable it'd be a fun reel to leave in the truck for when I pass a lake or something unexpectedly. So does anyone have a review or any info on this company. Thanks! I am not affiliated or attached to this company in any way, just looking for honest opinions
  3. I'd say Florida around February, Bass are on beds and easy to catch and lots of lunkers in Florida. I went this year and just hit small ponds around my hotel from shore and my girlfriend and I caught a ton from 1 - 7 lbs and I lost my PB in a small 1 acre pond.
  4. It's 100% one of the BPS line of cranks that run about $5 - $6
  5. Ill be there
  6. I'm with everyone else, a reel costing between $100 and $200 is the way to go. I use mostly Revo's and I love them. This time of year with Black Friday and Christmas, you should have a problem finding a great reel and really good prices.
  7. I'm a oddball, but it's a combination of Green, and Purple, with a little Brown mixed in
  8. I enjoy almost every species of fish. Matter of fact, if I'm bass fishing and get into some pickeral, bowfin, or whatever, I'm happy. They fight well and I enjoy fishing, no matter the species. Typically in the winter when bass fishing slow, I fish for pickeral a lot more. It's more fun to me as I don't have to slow down to catch them.
  9. I'd use this guy personally, or Tim Hughes
  10. I like the Z Hog, and had great success with it this year, Texas Rigged and as a Jig Trailer. I have big plans for them this winter as well
  11. Great Idea, Thanks! I'd definately be going this route
  12. I've had good luck with the basic wader from Walmart, think they are around $60 - $75. Worked well for me for the 1 season I used them for
  13. I like to add a glass rattle horizontally across my Zoom Super Flukes in the head, it looks like eyes, and gives the bait some sound
  14. I know and have powder painted worm weights for texas rigging. I know you can then then use them (paint chips easily) or epoxy over them, but is there a way to cure them? This is what I'd like to do but I can't figure out a way to make the weight suspend in the oven without sticking to anything? bent paperclip maybe? Any ideas?
  15. Any update here? Pictures?
  16. Not River2Sea, but a story on awesome customer service. I had a issue with the Lucky Craft Hollow Bodied Bluegill, emailed them, and immediately had a response, and 3 days later had a brand new bluegill in the mailbox.
  17. Bass Pro and Cabelas also do BF specials, but they change yearly as to the specifics
  18. Which lake? I may be able to help
  19. Or it could be a simple as the guy caught a nice fish vacationing in Florida, and just claims its from Montana now.
  20. The only thing that comes to mind is back about 15 years ago I had just placed a BPS order that had come in the day before a tournament. I had purchased some 4" Zoom Dead Ringers to try out on a local lake. Tournament starts, and we get a fish or two but nothing special, and we come up on some flooded cypress trees. I decide to try out my new worms, and boom, fish on my 1st cast. We ended up catching bass like crazy all day and all they'd hit all day was the 4" Dead Ringers. I had only bought 1 bag of the things, and by lunch time we were desperate, and out of new worms. We started tossing out worms with no tails, worms ripped to shreds, mystery creations trying to melt pieces into "new" worms. Ended up winning the tournament, and promptly went home and bought many bags of the 4" Zoom Dead Ringers, I'm not sure I've ever caught a fish on them ever since
  21. I've never used the Bad Jamma, when I use a double tail grub, I ONLY use Zoom Creepy Crawler Double Tail Trailers. IMO, nothings better
  22. Fishing Skirts doesn't do a BF Sale, best I know of is TW has everything 20% off, including all skirt material
  23. Not sure if it's been mentioned but Tackle Warehouse has Black/Blue Rage Craws for $3.65 pack. Only that color though.
