  1. With bass, no. Now if I’m musky fishing, yes. Unless they drill it next to the boat...then I just hold on.
  2. In the Chetek area.
  3. If it fits into their mouth, they’ll eat it. Aaron Martens won a tourney targeting an area where birds were nesting in tall grass, bass were eating the baby birds as the left the nest. So 100% they’ll eat perch.
  4. Agree. Extremely versatile.
  5. Nice Scott. Good luck. I’ll be up there during Memorial Day week.
  6. Pit Boss never disappoints
  7. Dropshot rigged with a warning shot.
  8. How are the water temps looking in northern WI?
  9. You’re right. It is a big state and I was very general. Crazy that big lakes are still mostly covered. Spawn will be running behind this year. Hope the ice moves out soon for you guys.
  10. I know this past weekend was the opener and that many places up north had ice on later than normal...any word on water temps/bass activity? thanks
  11. Rice Lake area
  12. I'll be up next week. Post spawn won't be happening.
  13. Thanks FN! So smallies are wrapping it uo and largies are moving in. Good to know. May take a bit for things to stabilize enough for the LM to really get going.
  14. Nice update. Gotta think that the fish that were moving up were probably set back with the weather/temp changes. Guessing that water levels will be up fairly significantly. What is the vegetation like? Behind, ahead or on pace with a normal year? Thanks!
  15. Been an interesting stretch of weather up there over the last few weeks. As it relates to fish, I'm guessing they're pretty out of whack when it comes to doing their thing this time of year. Should be interesting.
