  1. i live in milwaukee , and the bass just finished spawning a week or two ago
  2. maybe try getting a rod with some extra height, and use something a little heavier and get right in there with the front of the boat
  3. 8'' salamanders carolina rigged , let em sink and just drag em , i fan out and cast in everydirection once that thing slides through a bed you should get a hit, sometimes they just softly pick it up so look for your line and where its moving
  4. I fish ponds a lot. I usually stick with a bait for most of the day. but if i am feeling antsy or i just dont have a good feeling i throw it out a few more times and switch up. I always try to switch up my retrieve before i switch up baits.
  5. amber.
  6. I live in wisconsin , and fish lots of ponds rivers and streams, my best advice i can give is carolina rig 8'' salamanders ( i choose lots of different greens and browns) toss em in some thick , the slop , the stuff you normally wouldnt and just let it sit, then drag it across the bottom on a slow crawl.
  7. I recommend getting a replica , get the exact length , girth , weight, and specific details of your soon to be caught hog , and have them get as close as possible, you will still have a reminder on the wall and the satisfaction of knowing that that big mamas still swimming to see another day

what was the weight on that hog?
  9. I am part of an amateur fishing team based out of milwaukee wisconsin. I have recently started trying my luck at making custom spinner baits. I was wondering if there was any info tips or tricks out there that i should know about. A few questions i have are. 1.) whats an affordable way to paint my baits 2.) What company has affordable bulk blades i can buy 3.) does having a more flexible gauge in wire help catch more bass and produce a more quality lure? 4.) I live in Milwaukee and fish a lot of stained water. what are some color schemes i should lean towards when making a new bait. thanks Justin
