  1. Owner info is public info. Tax map is your best bet. Most assessors county/state have website where you can search by address if not go back to county building and find out where the tax maps are. Once you get the parcel number account number then you can look up the owner. You will be able to at least contact the owner via mail. If you have anyone that is in the survey/civil engineering industry they should know what I speak of and how to obtain the info. Here is an example website that I used in MD. http://sdat.resiusa.org/RealProperty/Pages/default.aspx
  2. Congrats. Great fish.
  3. Even some of the smaller rod companies like Rapsody make their blanks in mexico. The Rod Geek blanks are from Mexico as well.
  4. Yes I believe they make their own blanks using their own uni-directional process but they use components that are from overseas companies like the fuji reel seats and guides then they assemble in house.
  5. Dang looks sweet. What kinda rod would one need to throw that? Heavy fast with yozuri work?
  6. The colors are very different at least on booyahs website. The chrome blue has no orange, they have some new colors in like gold/brown/red/purple hues and watermelon craw color. I am disappointed they lost the real gill colors, pumpkin seed and long ear were my go to. With that said some of the new colors do look interesting.
  7. I use it for heavier end of the baits I throw, 3/8 and up spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, traps, big texas rigs and flipping jigs. It don't break, less stretch than mono. Does have a bit of memory but only gets dicey if you are trying to finesse pitch or cast light baits like a 1/8 texas rigged worm...
  8. It's funny to read most attack the kid for trying to fish illegally than answer his question LOL. No **** you need permission. Sometimes I think half yall are here to either burst folks bubbles LOL. I fish one course it has a couple ponds you can access from a walking path and it is a small community course. Of course the golf course part is off limits. I also tend to fish early or late (6-8 am). I know of one community that allows fishing while the course is not in operation. The fish mostly stack up along the banks, there the weeds get kinda overgrown. A popper type bait will get you strikes. Also at culverts, they are your best friend and like the other guy said especially after a rain. Majority of the ponds are weed controlled to various extents. So you gotta find what they like, you get some schooling. It is true that most ponds have some sort of fish for bug control and also weed control in Florida as it is required by most jurisdictions when creating retention ponds. IMO the golf course ponds can fish different because a couple factors like lack of fishing pressure, lack of BIG forage due to the lack of cover sometimes help make these honey holes. You see a lot more top water action, because I think the main eats are frogs, animals, ducklings that venture in versus bait fish. Also tend to chase food more versus a heavy cover bass sit and wait approach.
  9. I usenu tech crazy jig and KaRu vibrashocks. The vibrashock has an great wobble and the blade ticks the jigs for a different sound. 3/8 oz pretty much all the time.
  10. 1) see Bluebassers reply. Plus some times I will kill it and pop it up....like rippin grass with a lipless. 2) Try a burner craw, lake fork magic shad, zoom fluke or a EZ swimmer. 3) no
  11. DOA lazer sharp long neck wide gap. They have them in a 3.5/0 size perfect for flukes. I just saw VMC will be coming out with a similar long neck ewg. http://www.doalures.com/product-p/33-501.htm
  12. Junebug is good add red flake even better .....But candy bug or variants is best It works well anywhere not just tannic waters.....I use it in many ponds...... Just like red shad one of those anywhere anytime colors.
  13. Awesome video Captain Shane and thanks for sharing senko lover
  14. Favorite - texas rigs Hate - bottom jigs
  15. All I can add is....God Help you Sir.....I been there
  16. They(the HOA hires a guy) do this to the pond in my back yard. It will kill the weeds, changes the basses habits, less cover more spooky, less cover more roaming for forage in packs. Or find the structure or cover like culverts, limbs, humps the toe of slope or a hole and you will find the bigger fish. Fish in my pond versus others, tend to stay away from topwater and like smaller sized lures.
  17. Nice catch, thanks for a good write up too.
  18. Riverbug...good color.... look at gambler and bitters colors. VIBE and Ribbon tails.
  19. I think if you go to a fluro or yo zuri hybrid line on the veracity it will have more of the "slower" action Iabass talks about. I have fished both rods with 30lb braid and 15lb hybrid. The hybrid dulls the feel slightly but also give stretch. Now I am running 30lb braid on the veracity because it is my multi purpose. If I did dedicate it to chatter duty only it would have yo zuri on it.
  20. V&M makes some good plastics. They have several out there, with that tail....A lizard and a craw.
  21. I am using a 6-9 mh veracity now. I had a 734 champ. I like the veracity and have no complaints, but I would say for spinnerbaits and bladed jigs the 734 really shines. It has more of a mod-fast taper than the veracity.
  22. Sounds like that doing all that **** is more work than actually going out and catching the fish lol
  23. Gambler weebo watermelon blue core...sits tail up....Grande Bass finesse worm.....bitters or zoom trick worms. I also like put the Gambler Shakey Shad on there, it is a lot like the yamamato shad shaped worm but more durable. Gambler used have a smoke gold color that was good but they have some other good colors like ghost shad, watermelon blue core, grn pumpkin candy red.
  24. speed worms will catch, you are fishing it too fast. fish it below the surface....lift, fall, sit, repeat... or sllllooooow roll....not buzzin on top.....10" worms or flipping mats
