  1. No thank you Lou for letting me tag along. Learned alot about fishin down south. The chunk rock, the cover, cracking the code and working the frog. Truly a pleasure! Can't wait for next time
  2. Just think about the things she picked up in prison....they don't call it the pokey for nothin. Lol
  3. Great photos you got some nice fish. I am glad to read your opinion on the 705CB glass. I am looking at getting one of the champion cranking rods in the future.
  4. For a while there was a time in college that went through a ton of folks getting hit in the face and they blamed it on the speed of the ball from the aluminum bats
  5. I will throw up one I got lastnight phone died right after so I couldn't get a better pic.
  6. Pm me for further details if the world of golf don't cut it
  7. If the hospital has ponds fish those, they could hold fish....lets just say I know from experience
  8. Oh ok your an exit further down was think 16. If u get off at world of golf and head west(towards the river) there is a park n ride with a nice pond not too far on the left google earth it. i also seen an older guy pull his truck u der the bridge n fish the ponds on the ramp. Well I live by 95/295 so I know a spot or two there too. But if your on 1 then there are a few spots there as well
  9. How u headed down/up? I know a spot or two between Jax and st aug off Dixie highway....quite a few of them along the way.
  10. You sir officially have the best name on the forum. I am a balmorian I would got with 12 pound mono. I prefer sufix seige or berkely big game. Once your familiar with casting (assuming you are new to it) 30 or 40 pound braid is what I would use adding a mono or floroleader if needed. Also if you are primarily throwing hard baits you may just want to stick with mono. Enjoy the new reel
  11. good info mattbass...welcome to the site.
  12. Then I would go with one with a bladder the classic dip style depending on pressure would needed to be dipped every letter or two. Really with these pens with bladders it is as much keeping it clean and stored properly too.
  13. Most time I remove the split ring(if it has one) and use a rapala knot. Otherwise palomar, sometimes I will use a norman speed clip with palomar instead of a split ring too.
  14. I use the metal tip dip style mainly for cross hatches on pen & inks and renderings. Like them alot better than the bladders as they skip and glob. Maybe someone that has done hand drafting will post, I've done that sparingly, they had some unique pens and materials. Im not sure if you can get any of the old tools of the trade like Leroy templates or French curves. If your interested in that kind of stuff.
  15. Y'all are doing it wrong. Wait wait wait until you are about to expire, they will give you a deal for like 10 or 12 bucks for 1 yr and a free tackle bag. The tackle bag ain't much but for a printed mag mailed to your house 12 bucks is a fair price. Just do a one yr. This is my third yr as a member, and the second yr renewing for under 15 bucks.
  16. Trout stamps and fines for not having them make money.
  17. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mlb-big-league-stew/jesse-chavez-saves-his-own-life-by-catching-screaming-line-drive-at-head-061959454.html Wow!!!! I got one of those once in highschool right off my small of my back cuz my lazy a$$ didn't get low enough behind the L. Can't imagine taking it to the face like chapman did or catching it like chavez did. Makes the hot corner look like a cake walk LOL
  18. Good luck....I will be in the area in June. I hope to maybe get a chance to at least wet a line from shore.
  19. Yeah I was looking for it too. I am sure it will make it NEXT yr.
  20. Sorry to hear about your tooth.
  21. Nice fish....So are these things stocked? I never heard of them before here in FL, pardon my ignorance. I know there are Stripers in the St. Johns and FWC stocks a few lakes with them.
  22. Talk to pit boss Rick think he got one...then again I haven't heard much from him lately. Either fishing alot or the gators got him lol
  23. It would be rude not to open and drink immediately
