  1. Oh and here is my two cents about that bait pictured, doesn't look like a Booyah to me. It usually has Booyah stamped on the blades and there is a colored bead on the in between the metal ones.
  2. I use the Booyah counter strike, tux n tails, and there std spinnerbaits. All caught me fish. They produce pretty good actually. Durability is another issue though but thinner wire equals better vibrations. They will get bent up, my issue was the willow would pull off, happened to two of my baits, a std and a counter strike. They are supposed to make it right though. Well see, for 3.50, can beat it catching fish even if it only lasts a trip or two.
  3. The older model?(grey) Or the newer?(black)
  4. So Jar it is official they are going to go with the singles machine la stella. Look for uggla at your local wavier wire down the stretch lol.....so lackey blanked them man, can't complain too much he is on my fantasy team lol
  5. I picked up the older model for 49 bucks from Cabelas, decent little reel. Really like the feel of the handle nice big knobs. my son has been using it some too.
  6. Good looking Rockfish buddy. Solomons is where I lived for years, me and a buddy used to run all in there with his little boston whaler when I was in highschool. Yall eat at stoney's?
  7. 1. Spinnerbait 2. Creature Very confident in both and out of all the techniques my favorite two.
  8. Stick marsh. It is smaller, better management and consentration of the trophy bass. Chobee has more variables, weather, water, location. Just my 2 cents.
  9. Sounds good enjoy!
  10. Who is doing design? I wanna piece of the action too.
  11. Pflueger hands down, best there is. President or purist you should have a great reel either way.
  12. Don't know about rage but as far as big worms go Zoom and Gambler have 13" ribbon tails. I also like the mag trick worm but it is just thicker than the std not any longer so I go to Gambler ledge worms they come in 9, 11 and 13"....Good stuff.
  13. That is a booyah pond magic. booyah has a few series with the painted blades, I believe you can get the standard size too(the pond magic series is smaller) Try a white /chart spinnerbait, with a white willow and chart colordo.....also check out Revenge spinnerbaits, they have painted blades as options......orange crush.
  14. I have one pop r that I sanded the top of the cup down on. It spitts less spray. Maybe this is the one that blurbs easier? I mean it is a 5 dollar bait if you want to experiment. I hear you on the $$ for the baits, it is crappy to lose or break one.
  15. Popping frog does suck, I got one as a gift. It is just way too light weight and floats too high. I agree with reason, you can do a longer stroke versus short snap a pop r will blurp. I heard the same thing about the boil triggers too, common complaint when they came out is they wouldn't spit.
  16. Yes works good, throw 3/8 and 1/2 oz mostly all day on 30# braid.
  17. Yep I used to do it a lot when I didn't use baitcasting. I have a 6'6" MH carbonlite with 30# braid, she works with any thing under a 1/2 oz in light to moderate cover. And I am with 0119, the angle and rate of fall are better another plus is you can flip the bail closed with the left hand.Sam (who I haven't seen post in a while) spoke of using spinning gear to do this, we chatted a little about it before I really tried it.
  18. Should be a good game either high or low scoring depending on which version of each pitcher shows up. Lol
  19. I use both. The senko style weightless Texas or wacky for a slow fall and dead stick or a lift and fall type retrieve. I use a trick worm for a moving retrieve either weightless and slow rolled or weighted and drug on the bottom.
  20. Wow nice day. Can't wait to get back down there again.
  21. Congrats well done!
  22. Wow that is a pig! Good info bbd. Thanks for the details. Congrats on the success of a well planned and excited trip. Is that 9 a PB?
