  1. Used to love dominos thin crust w/ light sauce and ground beef! 32 oz of Mickey's n I am in a good place......right now we have a local place Brooklyn Pizza, good New York style with bacon. Pappa Johns has some unique pizzas, I like the buffalo, chicken parm, and chicken club....but the ultimate favorite is a tie between California pizza kitchens buffalo chicken and their spinach artichoke.
  2. That is funny! wonder if meatwad is a member here, if not he should join the party. I can think of a few memebers that may have some amusing discussions and product reviews with him.
  3. Nice avatar....Finally someone with some football sense.
  4. Awesome fish! congrats
  5. ^^^yeah what he said. If you look around you can find new in package president, Templar and president xt for $30-$40, got mine on eBay for $36 to my door, couldn't be happier. Pflueger make a great spinning reel, have mine on a BPS Carbonlite. Love both.
  6. Ka-Bar has some knifes still american made, they are all in the $200 range, most of them are made in tiawan. but I have seen the Becker in action on a knife forum and it is crazy. Dude cut through a lawn mower, cynder blocks and then re-sharpened the edge, couldn't break or bend it. U can't beat the bacon maker folding for 30-40 bucks. Benchmade or Bear and Son are the other ways to go too. all good products. Also Condor knifes, not american, think they are panama or central american country owned but good knives and machetes for the money. And I will throw in there Bulldog Brand if you want a collector light duty.
  7. I am in an similar situation my owner lives in miami and we recently got paperwork from a lawyer sent to the house. Florida law and there is a Federal law in 2009 that protects a renter in a foreclosure situation. if you have a legal lease you have the right to occupy the house until that lease ends. We contemplated if these were foreclosure papers should we stop paying rent? The answer is you will pay rent to the landlord until the Bank takes over as owner then you are obligated to fulfill your end of the lease to the new owner, the bank. They have here in FL 90 days if the house is sold to vacate, the Cash for Keys is only an option that they may offer you and you do not have to take it if you like living there. I would deffinately check out the renter tenant laws in your state in addition to federal. Also if you plan to stay contact the bank explain the situation and pay the rent, you don't want your credit Hope this helped, good luck. http://www.ehow.com/...losed-home.html http://www.ehow.com/...oreclosure.html It is called "the protecting tenants at foreclosure act of 2009"
  8. I have a MH spinning, love the rod. Super light and super strong, very sensative. I primarily use it for soft plastics, some top water. I don't know who makes them but BPS makes some of the browning rods, BPS had similar browning rod on sale for $70.
  9. Same here, love those things!
  10. The fish in my avatar was picked up a day or so before beryl came through. There is a Jacksonville thread where me and jaxbasser posted some nice fish during the pouring rain of Debbie. The pond he was fishing was spilling out into the road. After that the bite was dead for two weeks. Watch for the pressure drop.
  11. Kinda freaky, some of our December dates match. my wife and moms bdays are the 7th also. I was also married on the 19 in LV and the 31st (wedding with the families) my boys bdays are the 18 of dec and 18 of jan. busy time of year for me too! Being my first winter here I look forward to it, I made it out a couple of times in Feb in VA and landed some nice sunfish
  12. Yes Bitter's bait is a Florida brand but they have a website u can order online.I recently just started using them, I saw florida fisherman mention them and I found a tackle shop that carries them here in jax. Once i saw the product I liked what I saw, very good price, good color selection and they work. It is similar to a zoom ultra vibe worm. It is better in that it has hook slots, a beefier tail and scented. The have a worm similar to a trick worm.....junebug/blue tip or junebug pearl.
  13. Since u threw a plastic worm out there, here is one I just started using a bitters vibe worm red shad green flake. Love hitting the edges of grass with it. Let it sink a little then bring it to the surface n splash it back.
  14. I hear you guys. Man I just put my boy on the bus for the first time today. My little girl is 1 not looking forward to her getting older. Sometimes I wish you could just stop them in time so they won't loose that innocents.
  15. I use pandora, Hank Williams Jr station and a George Strait station are the only way to roll thumbs down to Kenney Chesney unless it is before the beach boy in him and poor grammar hooks took over. country today sure is different.
  16. Nice glad to hear you hooked a few nice fish. Let me know how it goes with the Reds. Man I am wanting to hook one of those, but I don't really ever get the chance. Good luck!
  17. Big front coming through. Temps gonna drop expect the bite good until it moves through then it will die for a while. I am planning on Thursday or Friday giving a pond I know was going before a try to see.....once it is consistent in the mid 80's it should be better and move into a "fall" patern. May and beginning of June were pretty good before it hit 90's every day
  18. Wow!!! First all those Bass now this! Nice trip, thanks posting the pics and write up. Good stuff.
  19. Thanks guys. It was a lot of fun today. AK, I dunno if it is the same place this has 2 ponds. One in the middle and on on the end. It is a weird spot the only place my baitfish or blue holo senkos work. Been fishing for 2 months and the best before was 2 something. There are a ton of big grass carp. It is the first or second complex down from publix.
  20. Awesome! Glad u got out one last time with him. Looks like he was loving it! Stay safe, God Bless.
  21. If it was me, I always try to find a public place to park, The condo/townes have guest spots so I would park there, also the road withe to two smaller ponds might be a good spot to park for a couple hours. There was a spot near me that was is similar, people walk their dogs through it etc. everyone just parks outside the gates and walks in. there are some business parks that Jax Basser posted, maybe off 103rd that he fishes. Business/shopping centers parks are good because they have public parking. I deffinitely feel you though and try to be respectful. The place I caught my fish today has a couple ponds, gated to traffic but has ped access so I park down the street at a park or at a business park and walk to it. Yeah I haven't heard from him in a while so I sent him a PM the other day. Dunno whats up.
  22. I agree with Road Warriors list except number 5. Peyton missed an entire season, might have issues throwing a deep ball for that I would say he is top ten but not top 5. my number 5 is Phillip Rivers and 6 would be Cam Newton.....7 would be Joe Flacco(after he nabs a superbowl ring this year he will be top 5) then maybe Peyton Manning
  23. I see you are on the westside. Talk to Jaxbasser he lives over there and has some spots. A friend of mine who used to live over in Argyle area gave me a spot and I passed it along to him. He got a 4 or 5 pounder out of it. These are some old farm ponds that have houses built around them now. Take arglye forest to chestwick oaks then left on to spencers plantation. There will be a bunch of condos on your right, a big pond behind them has 7 and 8 pound fish according to the guy that used to live on the farm before it was sold. The oldest pond with the biggest bass is the one on the left past summit drive, directly across from redstone drive with a big tree next to it. He said he caught and released an 11 pounder, his personal best, on live bream under a float. I haven't had the chance to make it there and fish it, take some pics if you land that big one
