  1. http://jacksonville.com/entertainment/food-and-dining/2012-11-16/story/goodbye-twinkies-hostess-shutting-down Apparently the union was ticked that they took $10-$100 a week pay cuts, higher insurance and less retirement because the CEOs raised his salary last year from $700k to 2.5 million or something along those lines.
  2. Maybe in 50 years and they WILL still be editable then!
  3. Maybe in 50 years and they WILL still be editable then!
  4. Don Draper at Sterling Cooper. Lol
  5. We just saw it on the news and the pregnant old lady(my wife) said it sounded good......so after two stores(4th pregnancy, real peach - she is lucky I went at all) I ended up with little Debbie Christmas Trees. There are no twinkies to be found!!!
  6. Fished a couple of small ponds today. Casting to the deepest parts with a 1/8 oz Texas rigged lizard, picking up on the first or second big hop after the initial fall. Landed 2 the biggest was maybe 1.5-2 pounds and didn't get a good hookset on a third and lost it in about 30 to 40 mins, the second pond I fished for about 15 to 20 minutes and got nothing.
  7. It is a nice setup. Redbones are typically inshore rods, but in reality you can use it for freshwater just fine. And aren't u down is So Fla? U got urself a nice setup to go to the pond one day and a jettie the next, but u might wanna run 20 lb braid if you go to the beach with that. Dunno much about the reel I hear shimanos are very good. But deffinately nice rod.
  8. Something similar to these? Ran across your thread it reminded of this I read a few days ago. http://www.bassmaster.com/gear/bondy-bait-co-stub-grub Interesting I will give it a try when the bite is slow I like the little jig heads personally, been using them of late for curly tail grubs.
  9. Congrats to R.A. Dickey and David Price. Cool to see a knuckle baller get the CyYoung. Just goes to show u 100 mph isn't the only thing that will get a hitter out. I seen Price pitch in person a few times he is an awesome talent, like a refined Randy Johnson and seems like a decent guy.
  10. Dang I need a shower after reading that I feel so dirty. Even worse I feel like a moron cuz it went on right under our nose. May you rot in hell Mr. Selig along with bonds, McGwire and clemens for dececrating the game. I was beside myself on how MLB would even approve a trade like that. Well now I know. So Loria cannot afford the team, we see that he dumped everyone before the back laden contracts took effect. Now what? You got a beautiful empty stadium and a crappy team? Did building the stadium increase the value of the franchise? So he could sell the team for a profit? What other motive/option would there be? Guess sit their and cash in on the TV contracts?
  11. Ribbon tail worms, heard so much hype about them, picked up a couple packs and have yet to get a bite.
  12. I have used the big bite bait plastic crickets. They tend to rip the legs off and peck more than inhaling the whole thing. Best bait I use is Berkeley crappie nibbles. I like these because they keep and are less mess than worms. (nice for the kids, they bait their own hook) But pea sized piece of worms and bread are fine too. A small bait hook and a float are the way I fish the nibbles. When I lived in VA I would use a split shot and a larger piece of worm and catch some very nice sized sunfish especially in the winter. I just bought the kids some rooster tails, 1/24 oz. we are gonna try them out this weekend. Should be fun!
  13. WOW! What will that do to the fan base? Now I know the marlins still have Stanton, lee and a few others right but they will be like the NL east version of the Astros. It's cool move em up here to Jax I wanna watch baseball games n we support losers up here(Jags) lol Sucks that Toranto is trying to make gains, but it is kinda like Boston and them flip flopped. They also had some injury issues last year. Their rotation still sux Romero stunk, morrow never can last a full season, good stats but k rate down, drabek and cecil blew, laffey and Villanueva were their best and they are a pair of long relievers lol they still have issues. But any body is better than the yanks winning the al east again.
  14. Wed and Thursday was at a pond down the street for time sake. Getting 3 or so in 45-1 hr on grubs. They were small, fiesty little guys, looked like their bellies were about to pop. Today couple of puny strikes. Try tomorrow maybe.
  15. They don't carry all the colors.
  16. Weightless trick worm
  17. Yup, I think Bradon Palanuik used the muted rapalas a lot during the bass master event he won this year. So guess their on to something with these faded colors. I think Ike picked the color combos out himself.

    Da Bears!

No, RGIII had one earlier and he played next game, i know because he is my starting qb in FFB. I believe they have new testing and medical clearance they must go through. It depends how hard his bell was rung, with cutler that might be hard to tell. He was a few beers short of a six pack to begin with.
  19. Another one that is a close second is the cake batter milkshake from zaxbys, instead of whipped cream they put chocolate icing on top.
  20. Grande bass rattlesnake in junebug red Texas rigged weightless. Slow drag it, swim it, toss it to culverts or brush piles. Caught my two biggest fish this year on these worms. However due to having to order them online I fish trick worms more often. So I know some people might not call it a worm. If that is the case then bitters magic wands(which are very similar to zoom trick worms) in red shad, junebug or junebug chart tip rigged and fished same as above, usually more of a slow to moderate speed drag.
  21. Nice fish. I just pulled the old rooster tail out the other day myself. Good fun I might pick up some newer ones. They are good for all species. I was getting a few dinky bass with mine. Hahaha
  22. Nice fish, those r the kinda groupers I would get fishing around docks n jetties in St Pete the few times I went. Fun to catch. Have a safe flight.
  23. This https://store.baits.com/product.php?productid=68&cat=0&page=1 color 150
  24. Sanchez is asking in the neighborhood of 90 million. Similar to the deal that Texas pitcher (Lewis i think) got to got to Anaheim last winter. Which Sanchez hasn't had a bad yr stat wise but he also hasnt had mor than 3 full 30 start season. He is too much of an injury gamble for that price tag. But I would think a nice addition to a rotation if he can repeat last year. Now word is the O's, Seattle and Milwaukee are the three in the Hamilton Hunt. Lol word on the O's is they declined Reynolds because he under performed with the stick. He was really good with the leather after moving to first. So the O's declined his option and wanted Hamilton to play first. I think if hamilton is a no go then your Laroche is their next target if all else fails they take Reynolds, he is arbitration eligible. Haven't heard about possible pitching targets for the birds. Did hear whispers on Jackson as a possiblity but all is on hold for Hamilton. We did trade for a second baseman since Roberts is a perennial DL visitor and Andino didn't cut the mustard as a stater. Casilla from the Twins, he should be ok.

Hey Big-O Since this thread is anything RAGE. Have u fished any of the Rage saltwater products? I ran across the crabs and shrimp here at Dick's the other day almost grabbed a pack of the crabs, they were on sale. Do you have and tips, tricks or info for any of the saltwater Rage products? A favorite maybe? I am sure one of them shrimp might get me a LMB here in the St Johns River huh.
