  1. Oh Great Swami Lets hope u are predicting a Skins-Ravens superbowl and a Nats-O's World Series
  2. Drove a buddies srt4 for a week, nice, I liked it. It would get up n go, loved the whoosh of the blowoff and the takeoff when you hit the next gear. But I loved the focus, it was a road track car, it had the best stock suspension, you could take corners on on ramps at 80-90 mph. I too grew up in high school with imports, muscle cars and the drag track. But once I saw road racing I was hooked. Woulda loved to track the focus but never had the chance. I am now stuck watching on the sidelines. Hope to make it to the 24 hrs at Daytona later this month.
  3. Go saltwater fishing more - and catch something
  4. Your a good man raider. Keeping the family/lady safe and happy is and should be number one for us men. And those Z's are sweet! good things come to those who wait, we will all get our rides one of these days. On a side note, you seen the new sion fr-s coupes? I ran across one on the road and googled it, man those are pretty sick, rear wheel drive, 6 speed, 2.0 boxer engine that makes 200hp @ 7,000 rpm....torques sucks though 151 @ 6100. Import tuner has a project car, mean green, with a wide body kit that looked pretty good.
  5. They won't Ravens are gonna bounce them out this week!!!! Colts playing in their real hometown, Baltimore, I would hate to be an indy fan there this week. We love to remind the Irsay that he is a no good bum.
  6. I had a focus, but mine was an SVT. It was my wife's first and she didn't get that thing over 3500 rpm. I had one kid at the time it was roomy for a two door getting the kids seat in and out was never an issue. Man I miss the 6 speed. It could be worse I drive a 2000 Saturn coupe currently yeah it has the awesome third door my kids love. Try riding around in that with your fishing gear and feel like a man lol it is burgandy and my wife likes to call it purple. But hey it gets me to work and was free.
  7. Zoom Horny toad black/yellow swirl Texas weightless on 4/0 or 5/0 Bass Pro XPS EWG hook
  8. Cool man, can give some info on the overall experience. I did it from the yacht club and it was in Oct. We used shiners on spinning gear but they had bait casting gear and plastics too. We fished the canal and lake in Epcot. Guide was fairly knowledgable both about the disney area and around orlando and my oldest who was 4 at the time had a blast. The lake u are going out of is the biggest and best from what I hear. I think in three weeks they will be in prespawn or even spawn. Good luck.
  9. I will agree with u on that. My 25 dollar strike kings the same way, very bright. But the Costas when I tried them at a pond I always fish, and I can see a big difference looking at the water, the Costas I can see out and into the water a lot further off the bank, dang near across half the pond.
  10. Wow awesome fish. Very nice
  11. My brother inlaws 1997 F-150 is a v8 and is near or over 300k miles. While not the same motor they share many of the same parts. Built to last, take care of it, cheap parts fairly easy to fix. Pretty cool for first vehicle, 4x4 = lift kit n big ole tires lol. My first car was a 1995 Nissan sentra 4 door. Congrats
  12. Grande Bass Rattlesnake..,,junebug red flake or trophy hunter
  13. Now I remember! that is where I heard it from, I just remembered which end the product came out not which animal so I googled lol
  14. I dunno about all that but it could be worse ever heard of kopi luwak Google that DeakNH...I think you would rather have scrapple LOL
  15. Nice fish.
  16. Well been out Wed, Thurs and today. Got Sunked before the front Wed, temps dropped lows in the high 30's Got a couple under 12" on a daiwa rainbow trout jerk bait yesterday, 39 this morning had only one bite and land this morning but I will take it. She was had on a Grande bass rattlesnake, trophy hunter color, w/ 1/16 oz bullet t-rig. One of the prettiest fish I have had the pleasure to catch, all the fins and tail were perfect, no rips. Mouth didn't have any holes in it, nice healthy fish. Measured 22.5 inches and came in at about 4 and a quarter on my little old zebco spring scale.
  17. nice, man they are putting them all over the place
  18. Right for the most part I use bps more for the common stuff like line, rods and reels, hooks, sinkers/weights the bps brand stuff without paying shipping. most the smaller shops around here are geared to salt water fishing not bass.
  19. Addicted nailed it with his post, I Just got a pair of the Jose in green mirror 580G as a gift. I used to have the Strike King in amber/green. There is a good difference, I can see further off the bank. The view is clear, never thought it mattered much but now using themI can tell. Plus they don't feel so cheap. I just went with what was recommended by costa and a couple other websites(solar bat was one I was considering) when I got my strike kings. The copper/amber in my opinion sharpens the lines of what your looking at versus a grey(have a cheap pair of columbia in grey polarized) lense seems to darken or shade what you are looking at. Congrats on the new shades whatever color you get I am sure you will be happy.
  20. Woulda complimented the shark fin soup and whale steak with a side of sea slug so nicely
  21. So true, two times ago went and they didn't have the rod I wanted in stock. But at least it will save me 2 hours each way to be disappointed.
  22. Don't know if it has the resturant or not. It would be cool if it did though, It is supposed to be right accross the county line from me and would be literally 5 minutes away. I agree, the small production/specialty bait companies, local experienced personel of the small shop here is what I like, but it will be nice to have one for the stuff they don't stock like certain fishing line, lure selection and wide array of rods and reels. I am not a fan of Academy, Dicks, or Gander, they seem limited on products/affiliation and color selection.
  23. http://jacksonville....tail-escalation 14 acres fishing lake, sweet!.....Far enough away, I think it won't hurt local retailers like StrikeZone, love that little shop but it doesn't have everything lol. Hope the deal goes through.
  24. Best value imo is the Pflueger President. But any spinning reel from pflueger is a very durable and great reel. I love the two I have, I use my Pflueger Templar 35 size for weightless worms, texas rigged worms and creatures, flukes, senkos, lite jig heads. If I was buying one today under $100 I would get the purist. If you are looking for something in the 150 range, then your options open up, there are Daiwa and Shimano models, Abu Garcia Revo models spinning in addition to the Pflueger Supreme XT that are all great reels.
