  1. Yeah I recall a 23-20 loss to the colts at the hands of manning. He is tough, one mistake on D and he can put his team in feild goal range, deadly with those 20-30 yard passes. The pass rush suggs and kruger with the underneath coverage of the short wr, rb and te will be key. Get the pressure on manning but cover the short/screen recievers. I still thought we should have ran the ball more, I dunno maybe I am too used to Jamal lewis and a sub-par QB.
  2. Well I gotta root for my guys firstly. Second, if we can keep the tempo of the offense we had the second half yesterday, without Rice fumbling we can win. No doubt this is a test. I also think that seeing a team for a second time might help as far as game plan, what they do etc. but key to our victory is limiting our turnovers. We have had some defensive success against Manning before, the problem has always been our offense scoring points and keeping possesion. Also Sunday was the first time that Suggs, Lewis, Reed and Ngata all played in a game this season.
  3. Lizards t-rigged! or Centipedes rigged wacky.
  4. Winners this weekend.....Ravens, Pats, Seahawks, Packers. On a side note, Denver is the only NFL team who's GM looks like the teams mascot, that might be how he got the job. lol
  5. Grande Bass Rattlesnakes - Junebug and trophy hunter. I prefer them weightless or texas rigged with a 1/16 or 1/8 oz weight. absolutely my favorite, I can always get a bite, and most all of my fish over 4# have come on them.
  6. Yes, pretty much, the costa cut more glare and I can see into the water farther away/greater distance. I stated in another thread the SK seems to make the images brighter/more defined than the costas do but both are an improvement over non-polarized and grey polarized. I got the costa from my wife as a xmas present would I have spent that much ever, no. It was a gift, she had seen me try them on before and I had mentioned them. I was totally fine with maybe moving up to a 50-80 pair of solar bats or oakley. I could see needing or enjoying a pair of costa more if I had a boat and was sight fishing the flats. lol They do help a little more from the shore, as I can see farther, I really like them but they are what I consider a luxury item(**** I could had a new combo). My only complaint with the SK was the lens popped out ocasionally, but they are really good for the budget minded angler.
  7. I have strike kings pro series, they are good, in the vermillion green mirror my only complaint is sometimes the lens would pop out cleaning it. I also just got a pair of the Costa 580G green mirror they are great, top of the line quality. I had also looked at a brand solar bat. It kinda meets in the middle price wise they start at around 80 for their polarized, they offer glass or plastic lens.
  8. The Kruger in Lucks nightmares isn't named Freddy LOL RAVENS WIN RAVENS WIN Next stop Denver
  9. Awwwh man c'mon he is reformed. Lol if u look at our track record, Lewis, mcnair, Morris, Mcallister..., raven's Moto "We build Defenses not roll models" lol But I think ur right we get past the colts and r done.
  10. Real men wear tutus.......got r done lol
  11. Hahaha. U did come a little serious. I don't really think hate marriage, women and children, just strongly dislike, kidding. I was just giving you a hard time lol
  12. Let me guess you don't believe in purchasing a fishing liscense or obeying slot and creel limits either SMH
  13. Tony aren't you the dude that wrote a whole thread on wife's and kids suck and you want to die alone but happy because you did what YOU wanted to all your life? Now your offering marital advice or you just busting ballz of guys that share a life with a family. I don't understand do you know about being selfless, having a meaniful relationship, and making sacrifices for your family. LOL Just curious.
  14. yeah it depends on my water too, some is like that and some is plentiful. I recall seeing on the Va dept. wildlife reports that they say anything from 1-2 fish per hour is a healthy/average fishery. I just am curious to compare apples to apples, knowing there will be descrpencies based on misc things. No statistic is perfect. Helluva end and start to your year!!!
  15. I am curious to what your catch rate is fish to hours? I seen a few of y'all post days to fish but a day for some of you is 8 hrs on the water where a day for say me is 1 maybe 2 if I am lucky. This year I started to keep records like this myself. And I love the pic of the big ole head.
  16. If you looking for a good mono try Stren Megathin. 8# has the diameter or 6# and the walleye color is nearly invisible. The knot strength and mangement are great. I use it on my main combo and as a leader on my number 2 combo with braid.
  17. Carbonlite!!!! Love this rod.
  18. That is what I wonder, how much of the schemes did they keep from Rex? Or did Mattison and Pagano bring their own take on it. I cannot imagine that it would be 100% the way it was. Rex is supposed to be renouwn for the complexity of the schemes(tell that to the Jets). But he(Pagano) did coach Webb and make him into a star. But your right, the Cam firing was waaaaay too late. Then to sit and basically take a knee on the loss to the bungals last week doesn't do the O any good. If Rice can break a few early and they keep the running in the mix the entire game the ravens can make it work. To me it seems their passing plays are very limited and when forced to play catch up or passing situation are very predictable or limited on what they can do. Lets hope that is no longer the case with Caldwell. And now with the Ravens knowing this is Ray's last ride they maybe motivated enough!
  19. I started using them in the summer, so I fished them weightless on top more times than not. I never had a problem getting them to the top or keeping them there. I haven't used the zoom original other than the UV speed craw and the plastic bitters uses isn't as smooth and fine plus the tail is bigger and cut different so it doesn't rip the vibe part as easy but is better to set a hook than with the craw. Do the zooms have a hook slot, the bitters do and I like it?
  20. X2 as a buzz, swimmer or popping it up and letting it fall on the t-rig. I when use it as a buzzbait, sometimes letting it sink weightless near grass edge and bring it back up.They sometimes will hit on the fall or as I start to bring it back up. Bitters bait and tackle make a nice version, lots of good colors at a 2 packs for $5. Nice avatar felix! Ray is ready!!!
  21. Please Chuck inherited that defense. He did coach them, but as far as building it no. He was secondary coach and the years he was their the secondary was our WORST part of the defense. From 2005 to 2008 Baltimore didn't allow more than 4800 total yds, have 2 seasons near 4100, since 2008 they have had 2 or 3 years over 5000 yds allowed and none under 4500. Baltimores problem this years besides injuries is that the stars are old and the payroll caught up with them. What made Baltimore defense was Rex, Ray and Ed. Harbaugh and Chuck got handed a great defense and have kept it serviceable, while improving the offense to average. As far as the Colts go, they are no better than the bengals or minnesota if that. they played a cupcake schedules, jags 2 times(and lost one), buffalo, tenn., KC and gimme from Texas. teams underestimated them and they got a couple nice wins. Their defense is comprabale to the Ravens. But their offense is shakey, Ok Luck can be impressive but turns the ball over, it is his first playoff start he might have nerves, plus the key is keep the pressure on him, his 4 quarter comebacks = no rush + soft dime coverage. Colts have no RB. You can say Denver has no RB but destroyed the ravens but look at that game the ravens, Gailey and Flacco killed that game for us. 1-12 on 3rd down pitiful.....That said the Ravens are a far better team on paper, now that we got a new O coordinator maybe we can achieve this high power offense that has been talked about since Joe got drafted LOL
  22. Awh common, the Colts can't hang with the Ravens. I just wanna see the show down of Pats vs. Broncos should be a better game than the superbowl itself. But the Texans might mess that one up, and the Ravens did beat the pats, don't think they will make it past the second round though. The NFC sucks, they will lose in the superbowl so I don't really care who wins. It would be nice to see RG3 win one or two in the playoffs.
  23. I am catching them here in Jax in the same weather senario. I use bomber long a's or daiwa db minnows. most productive colors are blue/clear orange belly in the bomber and the only color I have is rainbow trout in the daiwa. My best days with them are after a cold front comes through with some wind. After a couple days of solid temps(no dramatic change) I go will something more proven/typical, ei t rig or for you a jig. So hell yeah try them in your area they will work. It is a different type of lure and fun to use here and there.
  24. Bomber lures or smithwick for cranks and jerk baits Rebels for topwater booyah for spinner/buzzbaits Big bite bait, Bitters bait, and zoom will cover all your plastic needs. I can't agree with the buy 1 nice bait, rather buy 3 or 4 of a cheaper bait in the same color or a couple colors and be able to fish it and loose it throwing it into the tight places and not worry if I am gonna lose my 15 or 20 dollar bait.
