  1. "Chronado. I like that. I assume you mean the white 200e series". Yup. Those are the ones. They took the Curado E series, slapped a new paint job on them and called them Chronarchs and called it a day.
  2. My entire line up consists of almost all E series Curado's, a Citica and a "Chronrado". They just have that certain "mojo" to them.
  3. My go-to before the Vision 110 was the LC Pointer 100 in Ghost Minnow. The thing flatout catches fish.
  4. I have a top 3 that have probably accounted for 80%+ or so over the last couple of years: 1. Walking Topwater (Sammy/ Gunfish) 2. Underspin W/ Trailer (Coolbaits/ Misc Plastics) 3. Various Plastics in T-Rig, Weightless and D-Shot Honorable mention to Jerkbaits (Vision 110/ Pointer 100)
  5. That's actually a great picture imho...
  6. My personal GOAT reel. Not the fanciest thing ever, but for me they just have a certain mojo. Set it and forget it, no worries reel. I have several E series in multiple sizes and still prefer them to this day over any other CU Shimano has put out.
  7. Some of you guys are pretty lucky to have had so few break over such long fishing careers. I broke one "testing" the parabolic action by hand (high Stick). One by boat flippin' a fish (HS). One by snap casting a Swimbait. One by casting an A-Rig. One by jamming it in my in truck cab. One I have no idea, just noticed it was broken taking it out of the rod sleeve. Those are just the ones off the top of my head and I try and take care of my gear. I don't feel I'm particularly rough or careless with it.
  8. Vision 110's the King? Probably. I just recently got rid of all my Jerkbaits that weren't 110's or Pointers to make room for more.
  9. Burn it (Orig. Bill Lewis), Yo-Yo it (LC LV500).
  10. I almost exclusively fish an Underspin instead of a Spinnerbait these days. Just sold off all my A-Rigs and most of my big Swimbaits along with some 300-400 size reels. I leave the heavy lifting fishing to my Tuna fishing.
  11. Yup, and that's how I fish them most of the time.
  12. There is no wrong way to fish them. I would say most people fish them weightless wacky rig. I prefer to weightless fly-line them most of the time. I caught PB on a trip to MX when I pinned one on a T-Rig after we ran out of lizards. I believe A-Jay uses them as jig trailers in MX.
  13. If I could only have TWO colors, it would be these two. Greenpumpkin a close 3rd. Those Florida strain LMB sure do love purple tho...
  14. "Did I do that"? Knows d**n well he did that! haha
  15. Does one need one? No. Do I have one? Yes. I try and have a technique specific rod for various different presentations. Jerkbait is a very important one to me because I want short, lightweight sensitive rod for this technique. IMO, it is one of the more taxing presentations and I want to use the right equipment for this.
  16. Yes. I fish technique specific setups because I want to use the right tool for the job. My Drop Shot rod is very different than my Flippin' N' Pitchin' stick.
  17. I haven't used the CX. I'm a Sufix and Sunline man now.
  18. Oh, I know... thats why I hit you with the laughing emoji on the ratings. Haha. For me, I will not hesitate using it as it can be the difference between catchin' and a boat ride. I love to bust D-Shot haters chops too! Ha!
  19. The thing is, this is the most deadly technique for deep water where i'm from. Yes, I know the boring ol' drop shot, but catchin' is catchin' right?
  20. Mine too. I have several E7's as well and an E5 and 300 sizes and other E series reels.
  21. IME, the P Line CXX is stronger, the Yozuri Hybrid is more supple, easy to handle.
  22. I haven't used Sunline Shooter (love Sniper fluoro tho) but, Maxima Ultragreen AND P-Line CXX are extremely strong lines. The Maxima was my go-to mono for years until I switched to P-Line. I use mostly Sufix now, but those other two are high quality lines.
  23. I have a few of the previous generation and they are nice rods. Light and sensitive. A good combo in my book. Most of my rods are Shimano/ G Loomis and Falcon. Try it, you just might like it.
  24. Jump offs happen, it's just part of the game. I fish a barbless lake with feisty Northerns and I get jumped off all the time. Sometimes dropping the rod tip straight down into the water can help keep them in the water, but there are no guarantees.
