  1. I have two of them, both spinning. So far I like them, significantly lighter then the previous model Cumara. I can say I'm happy with the rod. I should note that I have seen two rods that have problems with the plastic on the reel seat coming apart. Also have had one come in that snapped just above the 2nd guide.
  2. Gotta be the Molix Lover
  3. +1 tatsu has completely changed my view on floro. Running this line on 5 setups this season, couldn't be happier with it.
  4. I just got the NRX893 and paired it with a Lew's TP, I was out with the rod tonight and I have to say this rod puts my Dobyns Extremes to shame, I love my extremes but the rod is in a class of its own, It's like this rod has a magic tip. As far as the tournament pro goes, I now own 3 of them and couldn't be happier. Super light/Palmable, very smooth, and casts a mile. The Team Pro would also be something to look at.
  5. Buckeye j-will head, xzone swammer
  6. your weight is too heavy. tie on a 1/8oz cylidrical style weight
  7. 1/8oz Fintech skip jig rigged w/ a 6" finesse worm
  8. Hard to beat Anthony hunt also known as 5oz
  9. Loomis TWFR854C, Curado 200e7, 65lb power pro
  10. With my Dobyns Extremes anything over 1/2oz goes on the 5 power
  11. Nothing comes close to these heads!
  12. J-will swimbait heads. They have head with a heavy 5/0 hook & also a more finesse version with a 3/0 light wire. I really like the mushroom style head on these, comes through the grass rather well, i usually have a 1/4oz head tied on.+1 for solid swimbaits, my favorite is a Xzone Swammer.
  13. NRX 893JWR, 20lb tatsu, and a couple of new Molix lover vibrating jigs!
  14. NRX 893. Can't be beat
  15. trokar elite pro assortment. Couldn't be happier with this set, when I loose a hook it just gets replaced when I get in off the water. organized, compact, and super convenient to have!
  16. Had this waiting for me when I got home tonight. This is my first NRX and won't be my last Rod is being paired with a Chronarch 50MG.
  17. Heading down to Champlain next weekend with the 14ft tinny, anywhere you guys would recommend in terms of launches/quieter spots that are not out in the open channel if she gets windy?
  18. Was talking to my Shimano rep and he was mentioning that Shimano has a few new things coming. First is a Chronarch CI4 baitcaster. An in between reel prices between the chronarch & core, coming in at $280. He also mentioned that a stradic CI4 with x-ship is coming! Good to see shimano changing things up in 2013
  19. Sounds like it would work as a bottom bouncing setup!
  20. GYCB twin tails, rage craws, rage grubs, Roboworm EZ Shad, my favorite has got to be the Gambler TZ/EZ swimmer
  21. It's just like anything in life... Some people drive a Ferrari, some a rusty old Honda. Some people eat filet mignon others eat hot dogs.
  22. Caught a walleye up here on a flipping jig before pitching into timber!
  23. Texas rig your bait, when you initially put the hook into the top of the plastic go a little deeper with the tip of the hook. That will put the eye a little deeper in the plastic you are using so you will have enough plastic to then screw in your tungsten.
  24. Braid reduces the line twist... Not the knot you are using.
