  1. SB setup is now complete! The first XP 867 that I know of in existence, super happy that they are now running Fuji's.
  2. Picked up my first Punker and had to dress it up a tad!
  3. Try using some maribou in with your feathers and flash. I use it for a little bulk when tying hooks for swimbaits and big topwaters.
  4. A few more glides showed up in the mail today!
  5. Christmas came early this year.... Whoops
  6. My first set of Hudds arrived, 8" weedless ROF5&12
  7. A few more goodies Huddleston 68 Weedless Yellow Perch ROF 5 Huddleston 68 Weedless Yellow Perch ROF 12 Mend-It Glue 1oz Berkley Trilene Big Game Clear 25lb 595yd Plano Pro Latch Utility Box 3731 8" Trout Yellow Perch ROF 5 8" Trout Yellow Perch ROF 12 Duo Realis Onimasu Swimbait Kokanee 2.75 oz
  8. It's real bad for us up here in Ontario, Canada we will have ice in a couple weeks from now, then bass doesn't open again until mid June next year. Ice fishing and a mid winter trip week long down south helps, but it's still unbearable at times!
  9. Just pull the trigger, I received my CQ 401 a few days ago and it was worth every penny!
  10. First piece to my new swimbait setup arrived today! It's unbelievable how refined this reel is.
  11. 3.3 Keitech rigged on a 1/2football, reel as slow as possible back to the boat.
  12. Up here in Canada most folks are throwing Jerkbaits on spinning tackle with a braid/fc lead, much easier to throw on a real real windy day, I also find it a lot easier on the arm when your working the bait very erratic all day.
  13. Champion 706cb Just the tackle pile on the table in my fishing room, baits that need terminal swapped out, spares that get tossed around, just a overall tinker table
  14. Look into the Jackall Kawashi Mikey 140, one of my favorites.
  15. How bout them Blue Jays!! Been waiting 23 years for this to happen again, super excited for Thursday!
  16. 6'8" ML Shimano Zodias, one of my favorite rods and it's right in your price point.
  17. Save your money, make a fishing fund, heck even if it's $20 a pay. My biggest reason for buying higher end gear is because it will last the ages. That $60 baitcaster you bought breaks down the road in two three years so you buy another and so on and so on. Spend the little extra, buy of quality the first time and it will last. I have old Chronarch 100b's that have been in my line up for nearly 10 years.
  18. Jackall Crosstail Shad has gotta be my favorite drop shot bait ever made! These northern smallies just crush em!
  19. I use the SBR813 GLX/Chronarch 100/17lb Mono for bigger baits like Super Spooks, RI Vixens ect. For the smaller stuff like binkys, baby spooks I use a Dobyns 684cb/MetHG/30lb PPSS
  20. That jig head is tungsten. It cuts down on the size of the jig for a more compact presentaion, also because tungsten is more dense than lead, vibrations are transmitted to the line, instead of deadened in the softness of lead.
  21. NRX893 gets weightless plastics duty for me, spinning I would go with the 852s/803s
