I have the bulldog foot control trolling motor.It works perfect on the front of the boat.The cable for the foot control probably wouldn't be long enough for the back of the boat.This is the best money I have spent on the boat.You can move the boat while casting and not having to keep moving the trolling motor with your hand.

The floor looks nice.Just wondering how you get the water out from under it when you are on the lake fishing and starts to rain or if it is raining on the way to the lake.I was headed to the lake which was about a 20 minute drive and ran thru a big rain.When I backed down to the lake the water that came to the back of the boat was about 3in. deep.I took a cup and dipped out all I could.

Yes I have it hooked in the front with the prewired plug and the batteries in the back.I also have a 55# thrust on the back for a backup.It seems the 40# in the front moves the boat faster than the 55# in the back.

I have the 40 lb. thrust bulldog on my bow.Would not recommend anything much larger because everytime you hit the pedal you see the motor mount flexes.The 40 has all the power you would need.

I have been fishing buzz baits for over 25 years.The lunker lure 1/2 oz. is my favorite.Take your pocket knife and waller out the holes in the blades to make it sound better.Also use a heavy duty reel and start cranking right as the lure hits the water.

just hooked up my bulldog 40 yesterday and tried it on the water.I do believe this is the best addition I've made to the bass raider.With the wind blowing 15 to 20 mph.,I could still fish and keep the boat where I wanted it.

I have a hand control in the front but just ordered the motor guide bulldog 40 foot control for mine.It is the only foot control that I could find that would clamp on the front.

I have a question about running the trolling motor from the front.I tried it today on my new pelican 10 E.It did not seem to react very well when trying to turn the boat.I don't know if it was because I was on the front with the trolling motor and.batery but when I switched to the back it.would turn like a top.
