  3. Hey Guys, My buddy was at a flea market and bought a brand new vintage Shimano Bantam Curado CU 200 (Right Hand) I'm Near Mint Condition. With a tiny scratch on the top. He got it for $20.00. My question is, what is the reel worth? Thanks, -zildjian

  5. Hell Yeah dude! That's my goal from the start of this season was to hook into a 5lber plus.. i actually caught my PB early this season at 4lb 10oz which i hope that digital scale was right.. since then i bought a certified Boga Grip Scale for 30lb. but i caught my PB on a weightless T-riged Zoom Magnum Trick Worm in Green Pumpkin with 3/0 or 4/0 Gamakatsu EWG Hook on a very Cloudy overcast day just as the sun was about to start setting. and BOOM. Her Mouth was the biggest i've ever seen.. looking like it was screaming wide open trying to throw the hook underwater while reeling her in. -zildjian
  6. All my rods are Champion Dobyns and Ducketts Micro Guide with the exception of one Champion Extreme Series Dobyns rod. The Duckett rods aren't that expensive think about $149 and you can look at the Savey Series of Dobyns also. But if your looking for just one all around rod.. It's worth saving up for a Dobyns or Duckett IMO. -zildjian
  7. that stinks! why would people even sell them if you can't use them? is it just a PA law? Thank You for the help btw!
  8. i just got my registration number for my first boat. i was looking online for some custom font and lettering stickers. my question is it illegal to use custom colors and cool funky fonts for your boats registration sticker in Pa? or do you have to do the plain old Block Numbers and Letters? thanks, -zildjian
  9. I see I see. Good points! Thank you for your post
  10. Hey Guys, I'm thinking about adding a Power Pole to my Bass Tracker 190TX Having a hard time deciding which one to buy. You guys recommend any model or size? Also would I have to add a battery or does it run off the current two that came with the boat? Thanks, -Zildjian
  11. Thanks for all the comments guys! Yes I fish from my boat
  12. Hah so tubes huh? Lol what makes them like tubes so much? I fish lots of visual and submerged structure for largemouth. Jigs 90% of the time crankbaits, spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, and flip n pitch any type of creature bait. But not once have I hooked up with a smallmouth... Why is that? I just want to catch ONE! Lol The only other thing that I havnt fished was out in the middle of the lake or anywhere on open water to target humps. I heard humps are key spots to fish and rig up a Carolina rig. But I Can't seem to find any or I just suck at reading my fish finder/Depth Scaner. I will try throwing tubes with 1/8oz weight towards structure and see what I can make of it. How do you guys work tubes? Like a jig? Hopping it along the bottom, swimming it, drag it along the bottom? Also why such a light oz weight? Are tubes fished more of a finesse style?
  13. The water is very clear for the most part, and tons of submerged vegetation. Lots of rocky flats throughout the lake as well.
  14. Hey guys, I want to go out for the first time to just go for smallmouth. Just wanted to see if you guys could give me any tips on lures and techniques that work anywhere on these guys, as I never fished for them before and never caught one. And knowing my club lakes have massive ones, I'm excited to try it out! I'll upload pics to this thread of the bass I catch on the rigs you guys suggest! Can't wait. Thanks! -Zildjian
  15. Im right handed. I cast with my right hand, set the hook with my right hand, and reel with left hand for everything. It feels awkward any other way.
