Me and my buddie went cat fishing last year in a small pound by our house.. Caught about 20 fish only a few of them were decent size the rest were like 5 inches long we were using hot dogs! i don't think ill do that again all they did was inhale the hook.

hmm few kernals.. so i shouldn't fill the whole hook? or it don't matter

what works the best for catching river carp?

the weather was awesome up here in Massachusetts.. In the high 70s got my self a nice tan or should i say just really red. Alot of people out today which was nice to see.. It was my first time out this season myself but everyone i talked to was going for rainbow trout which apparently they stocked a few 100 the other day. It was a pretty slow day but fun one.. My first cast i had a nice large mouth but it caught me off guard.. Was just about to pull my line up and outta no where she just slammed it but didn't set the hook. Right then i new the day wasn't gonna be a total loss. About an hour and a few beers later i caught my biggest pickerel. Felt really good about since it was the first catch of the year and a record for myself.. c&r

july of last year on the mack, seems to be the only size i can catch of them guys. caught a couple random hornpout good size. I need to put some more time in on the river! i should go today gonna be 70

wow, you can catch all that year round? i never new that. I really wanna do more river fishing this year im only 5 minutes from the mack. What type of lures or baits do you usually use for smallies and largemouth?

what's in there to catch at this time of the year? I'm assuming smallies anything else?
