  7. it really was, i was shocked when i laid him into the water.. He took a couple breaths and jus hit the road. Maybe he tired me out more lol
  8. Fishing out of the Merrimack River in Haverhill, MA. I was using a cheap ole walmart lake rod laced with 20lb test. Every time that thing came 6ft to the shore he took off and wanted to snap the rod lol.. After about a good 15+ mins i think he had enough. Was using regular worms i dug out of an old leaf pile in my yard. I wanna say its like 10lbs but what do you guys think? Biggest fish i ever caught and longest fight that's for sure.
  9. how much does that beast way?
  10. worms no, minnows occasionally
  11. i recently saw a video by Kevin VanDam using trailer hooks on his spinnerbaits. I tried it out yesterday and caught 3 decent bass 2 of them only hooked by the trailer hook. Anyone else use them for your spinnerbaits?
  12. look at the eye ball on the left.. that's a big fish lol
  13. I caught this bass earlier today and when i checked it out it had a small bite mark out of the bottom.. it was bleeding and fresh.. it was like a tiny square maybe the size of (two starburse candys) or something. I know the picture you can't see except for the red. I'm just wondering would of it been another fish taking a bite? maybe a turtle?? or even a rock railing it in.. he was perfectly fine when i let it go just had me wondering. I was fishing out of a lake in NH.
  14. when i read the title i thought it was gonna be something about a skunk. I was fishing the other day in the woods and a skunk came moving up behind me. Luckily he didn't spray lol..

  25. I caught a duck once, i seen it come out of nowhere and i tried to reel in my line as quick as possible but apprently ducks are pretty d**n quick.. When he grabbed at the bait he flew about 10 feet in the air. I didn't know what to do i didn't wanna jerk it and hurt him/her and i also didn't wanna cut the line and have him flying around with a hook and string hanging from his mouth. After about a minute or so the hook just came loose and the duck flew away. Very random but glad the duck was alright
