It was bound to happen eventually, today I turn 30. In addition to all of the countless gift cards and other bass fishing related gifts I got, my wife scored this cool cake! - Joe :-)

We have the basic stuff and some Fox Sports that has Bill Dance and FLW, etc.

We have Time Warner cable and I was wondering what channels I can get that has fishing shows? I don't want any hunting stuff through. Just curious as to what options I have. Live here in NC.

The co angler needs to be remembered in prayer as well. That was very traumatic.

RIP Prayers for his family. I will remember our fellow angler next time I fish by dedicating my next bass to him. Also major props to the co angler who tried to revive him when he came to. This is a tragedy and we need to lift up the families involved. Joe

Sorry for the noob question but what is a stringer and how do I get one

So you are scrounging for the scale, phone, pliers, or whatever else with a bass hanging from your thumb. How long can a bass be out of the water for "picture time" or whatever before they die, or are out too long that they probably won't make it once you put them back in. Also, does the size if the bass make a difference as to how long they can stay out of the water for?

Tried out my new Rapala Scatter Rap from Bass Pro Shop today. First cast I caught a fish about 2 pounds. Second cast I got this pretty girl. Beat my personal best of 5.8 pounds. This one weighed in at 6.6 pounds!!!! :-) - Joe

Yeah, they were actually really nice about it. I got it there a few weeks back and they exchanged it straight up today. LOL
