  1. I will be on a church retreat tomorrow through Sunday. However, I do have the bass resource app, and of course the BASS app. Who else is ready!?!?!?!?!?
  2. Someone needs to bust out one of those pink $20 girls Shakespeare combos with the push button cast!!!!
  3. Brandon P with jerk baits!!!!
  4. Like Forrest Gump running through the football game.
  5. I remember last year I saw on the tv an episode of the classic launch. There were boaters everywhere at the launch. I was thinking, "I wonder if these boaters are bothered by all the people in the way". I mean there were about 50+ people gathered around.
  6. True that!!! I figured the same.
  7. When the classic is on and running, can the locals fish with or near the pros?
  8. Gutted or not, those don't look like LMB. The length seems like a snook.
  9. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_123/classic-cliff-pace-12714.html
  10. Headed to BPS grand opening tonight here in Cary NC. So to answer the thread, A LOT!!! Been saving the tax money for this tonight!!!!
  11. The noise of my 50 pound braid reeling in a mule on the end of my jig is no where near as loud as me yelling, "stay on baby stay on!"
  12. I usually imitate a good ole Bill Dance comment like "that's a mule my boy"
  13. We fish year round here in NC. I am pumped about the new BPS!
  14. Bass Pro Shop in Cary NC (about 15 minutes from our house, instead of the 2.5 hour drive to Charlotte) is opening Feb 12. There will be an evening of some pros and celebrities including Jimmy Houston, Timmy Horton, Richard Childress, Wesley Walls, Miss NC, George Poveromo, Doug Koenig, and Bob Foulkrod. They will be signing autographs and letting us take pics with them. Ready to spend some $$$. Joe
  15. Ok. So basically I can fly down from NC, rent a car, and be able to fish on a bass boat with you all? I have never done this before and interested in doing so. I obviously can't bring my kayak down there for such a long trip especially with other bass boats. ( hopefully I will get my first bass boat the end of this year). However until then I would love to do the road trip. However if I do it I may feel like a lost puppy with just myself and a rental car. :-)

  17. The road trip sounds like fun! I need to read up on that thread and get more info. ;-)
  18. tbone, May have to cash out some Southwest miles. ;-)
  19. Forgot about the tip part. Lol I didn't see a comment section. But I will look around too. :-)
  20. I would love to learn a few things too. Just to get out and explore new waters with a guide that knows the info would be great!
  21. Did a quick search and found a guy about 30 minutes from me. $250 for four hours and $350 for eight hours. Has a guarantee if you get skunked, you go again the next day for free. He does it all 12 months. Says he goes out in his tournament bass boat.
  22. I really enjoy my kayak fishing here in NC. However I wonder if there is like a bass "expedition" or bass "excursion" around. A good drive to somewhere in NC would be okay or even a flight to somewhere. Just something kinda like I did at Disney World, but less expensive and more concentrated on bass. Maybe something along the lines of a Saturday 8 hour day on a bass boat with a guide. Is there such a thing? Almost like a deep sea fishing trip, but lake based. Joe
  23. Almost peed myself from the raccoon pic!!!
