  1. I hear people a lot say that in order to have big bass more prominent in a pond, you should remove the dinks. Why is this???
  2. Nooooooooo!!!!!
  3. Where was it caught exactly? You said area is "disclosed" which means "to bring to view". So where are the other pictures??? If I caught an 18# bass I would have over 10 pics. Easily...... Popcorn anyone???
  4. Sloan is that you holding the bass in the pic that you said it "got spared"? Just never knew what you looked like.
  5. Jigs Weedless rigged creature bait 3.5 inch minnow
  6. He seemed pretty animated lol
  7. Got bored today. Nothing on TV. Weather too nasty to fish. Watched an hour infomercial on "Mighty Bite". Anyone use this? $20 for like 10 lures and like 5 glow in the dark ones too.
  8. Great stories guys!!! Bluebasser that is awesome of those two pictures. :-)
  9. We have two daschunds. They are brother and sister from the same litter. We are wanting to take them on the boat this summer. BPS actually has dog life vests. Even for our two 8 pound dogs! LOL! Anyone else take thei dogs along?
  10. He said I can use the 50 but he also said no higher. I am making a run to BPS later to get my usual stock up. I will probably grab some 20-30 pound to play it safe. Meanwhile I need to re-learn how to cast with this thing. :-/ Been using BC religiously for about two years lol
  11. 50# guide says is perfecto. :-)
  12. Not the dreaded triple!!!!!!!
  13. Aaaaaaaannnnddddd I'll say it again...... I B T L
  14. Oh yeah???? Wrap a senko in bacon!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Yep. Got mine in earlier. :-)
  16. Muskers!!!!!!!! :-) Little fella.
  17. The big trip in the in shore is where I will probably use his equipment. He did say some of his gear isn't the most fancy because so many people use it. I talked with him and he said my spinning set up is cool. But I didn't get the info on the line stuff. (Hence this thread). :-) As for the striper run, the "guide" is a good friend of mine. Real informal. Just two friends going to tear up some stripers. He did say to use spinning gear also. Again, I didn't ask for the poundage. :-( Thanks for the info snook!!! I have some 50# braid on the boat here at home. I will also make sure my capacity is good enough in case a fish decides to sprint a little on me. ;-)
  18. Doing the striper run here in NC. Also doing the NC inshore trip next month. Both trips I will have my BC's on standby but I was told to use my spinning gear primarily. The two trips both guides recommend braid. What is best poundage for them? Both rods are 6.5ft - 7.0ft. Middle of the road shakespere reels on each. (I rarely use spinning so my $$$ are in my BC's) I was thinking Iike 50# for inshore and 25# for striper? Any steel leaders for either trip?
  19. That second pic. LOL I love when fish hit a lure almost half their body length and more. :-)
  20. Well, I will still have to bring my lucky pliers lol.
  21. We are stoked. Father's Day 2015 with me, dad, father in law, and brother in law. Girls will be shopping while we fish. Dangerous. I know. :-/
