first you have to clean the rod good.... next you go to the store and buy the same rod.. then after putting your new rod in the truck take out the old and go return it...

for travel your not going to beat gas if you can use gas on the lakes you fish place i fish allot you cant. i got 12' fiberglass kinda double hull/ v hull thing bath tub, a trolling motor its a trolling motor. not meant to get you anywhere fast.. but i got a old 1.5hp sears gass motor.. thing starts right up and even just a being a little 1.5 that boat moves, its fun. boat is so light though.. that little boat if i strapped a 15 or 20hp engine on that thing it would be scary could race fancy bass boats and probably win

thats all i troll with on lead core most of time time for trout, i use my own flys on it though.. the best combo i use right now has been the gold blade with a smelt pattern on there... sometimes i switch it up to a big ugly or just snap on the hook and night crawler or minnow.

midway, brownells, Numrich. you have to call numrich though, don't bother trying to find anything on there site. there pretty good for if you own a gun that doesn't exist and need a part for it, they always seem to have it.

so your saying you want to hand out more warnings to members for the in between gray rule breaks etc and give more chances till someones banned.. where the old system you would ignore more the little stuff and hand a warning here and there till it reaches 2 and then wait for a big problem and ban em.. for some reason the new system sounds more annoying than good, people like to break small rules, getting warning more often for them, well sounds like if your planning to get your badges on for this new system it to me sounds like your going for a forum suicide depending on how many and what rules your looking to hand your warnings out for. not saying you have a bad idea and this forum is going down hill, just saying don't go getting trigger happy for some of those rules you have because it will probably be a moderator that stabs you in the back and makes a new forum and takes everyone with him with the promise of less rules more fun and the same great info..

not saying that you guys are bad just saying all in all i think we the people should have to right to equally mod the mods etc... just saying if you getting more boos over yays from us memeber maybe the badge should be removed just the same as the degenerate members. ive seen and been on a few forums that id love to click a little bad mod button, over here, no that's not the case but that doesn't mean it will always not be the case a year or two later etc... who knows, don't say your perfect without putting you badge out there for the loosing for abuse.. and no my warning has no reference to which one of the rules it was for so it says under reason is "other" so i broke the other rule i guess LOL... if you don't want pms asking why then leave a comment as to why..

not to say you got hosed without knowing the mechanics side.. i mean it sounds like allot but if it was something to do with the electronics etc i have yet to meet a mechanic that wants to work on that, time is money, usually kill more time than they can afford to trying to find a simple stupid little problem.. i know the people i get my 4wheeler snowmobiles etc.. i had an electrical issue with my 4wheeler and he told me flat out that he doesn't know me that it was an electrical problem, check all the connection i can find and try to fix it myself LOL lucky for me 4 hours of pulling on wires i found a bad connection fixed it and problem solved..

the color of the line never mattered that much to me, more the quality of the line or well quality really isnt the word more like personal preferences in a line. always used a leader either tied on with a swivel or a surgeon's knot or etc if the color shows to be a problem.. it looking good in the spool is always just a bonus. Ive had a few people say to me that oh your adding another knot on there and that's not good, well they are right ill agree but since i stopped using that triple shoe lace knot from when i was a kid, Ive never had a knot come out or break a line at the knot, so i haven't worried about it since i was 6.

LOL did you jump and scream like a girl, first time i was bit by one i had no clue they bite so i was a little surprised.. blue fish also bite, just little nip and i was leaking blood all over the beach. also don't put you finger in its mouth after its dead to see how sharp there teeth are, there sharp enough to not feel how sharp they are until your leaking blood all over the beach again.

the cost to fix that for a local builder is next to nothing or well it should be next to nothing, real easy fix.. you can do it yourself if you want.. but really if you have to pay to ship it to st. croix compared to the $6 or so a builder would charge LOL its almost not worth charging for unless we were to have to buy a tip for it. even if it needs a re-wrap it would be ready the next day and takes not much time at all.. probably 5-10 mins to wrap and put the finish on and then it just turns till cure, i mean that's again almost a free fix come back again when you need a rod LOL right! the most it should cost without need to buy a new tip is between $5-10 and if you were to need a tip the cost would just include the price of the new tip.

that's an easy question to answer, its all about the steak. marinade that up and slap er on the grill.. but for bass id rather a nice big stripper than a green boney thing anyway. them black sea bass also is some good eatn. the only little fish i like is bookie trout the smaller the better there like french fries, fry em up take em down head and all.. unfortunately there a 5 fish limit round here so it takes a few weeks to get a good meal.

next time tell him he can have all the sunfish i catch.. also ask him if he wants skates.. those things i prey to find someone who will want them.

i had no clue they even existed anymore LOL.. i'm still saying to myself ethanol free gas stations exist? that would be like finding Santa clause. i have though noticed with the sleds from one station to another a difference and have gone out of my way to not fuel up at some of them. i guess that's just nature of the beasts, they want good food.

im glad a small craft and a electric motor is all i need. and it still upset me when i smoked the little min kota LOL i was all bummed out for days.

thats horrible, what a pain in the neck but those engines are far from cheap.. id wonder if its got more to do with how there put together, tighter fitting sealed better etc etc etc making them more prone to those issues. that's just really for the cost of the engines they should be able to run on tap water.
