  1. I can say the same with my girl man, good feeling.
  2. Mine would be a Shimano Core 100MG7 on a G-Loomis Topwater Cast Rod 7'2" Heavy Action. Topwater Paradise. What's your dream set up? Baitcasting, Spinning, and Fly.
  3. Alright let's see, the best thing that's happened to me would have to be.. Some rich guy giving me a loaded tackle box of Lucky Craft Crankbaits after helping him get his beached nitro boat back in the water. It happened to be a day before hurricane Irene and I was out on my kayak, the guy's motor cut out and he basically crashed into an island's sandy shore. I helped him push it out, took 2 hours. Well worth it! What's your best experience?!
  4. I have too many sellus's to count, they're great.
  5. Haha I know.. I just like him and his yelling.
  6. Just going by experience and listening to the pros
  7. Jez, you weigh less than me, I'm 183lbs. 5'11" and I'm a hockey goalie.
  8. So basically you don't like roadwarrior because he told you the truth.. Lol.
  9. In my experience. Swimbaits, you'll get more strikes however all sizes of bass will bite it, 2lb to 8lb. A jig is not a numbers bait, if you're wanting to catch more fish, I'd go with the swimbait, but If you want to catch monster bass, go with the jig. Remember that you won't catch one every cast with the jig.
  10. This is why my favorite reel company is Ardent.
  11. Make everything like Iaconelli.. Entertainment.
  12. haha strolling, I do this with my deep divers on the Potomac, I'll kayak the width of the channel and let line out, once I'm to the other side I reel in and usually catch a big un. I wanna catch a 10+ pounder again, I caught my PB when I was 6, " strolling " from the back of the pedal boat. 10lb 15oz
  13. RESPECT THE LOOMIS! RESPECT IT! I've owned 10 Loomis rods, I own 4 now.. I had to sell em the rest, outstanding rods, all picked up at thrift shops and pawnshops.
  14. I just picked up Suffix Performance Braid last week and for some reason I like it, but I think it's equal to PowerPro.
  15. Alright guys, I just picked up my Pflueger 6940, spooled it with Suffix PB 30lb and got a better Salmon Rod, ST. Croix Wild River Rod, 7'6", Fast action. I'm so excited, this is gonna be my first trip to Alaska, 2 full weeks of fishing, Kodiak Island, Denali, Homer and Palmer along with several other small towns. Gonna be Salmon an Trout hunting with my dad, gonna be a great week. May isn't the BEST time to go there but still, plenty of fish are to be caught. Who here has been to Alaska?
  16. Blahhhh. Oh well.. They're still quality reels I think, they aren't shimano but the Bass pro version of the Pflueger Arbor is great!
  17. Personally I use Suffix Performance Braid Neon Orange rated at 30-60lb and Yellow PowerPro rated at 30-60. I prefer hi visibility line so I can see what I'm doing.
  18. I swear like a trucker when I lose one, and when I catch one, I yell at the fish " I CAUGHT YOU!!! ". People find it amusing..
  19. Your opinion should be a fact.
  20. Have ever thrown your rod out of frustration from losin that one tournament or when that big mama threw the hook?
