  1. I just ate a charred king salmon burger today at this place called Humpy's here in Anchorage. Amazing burger. I also had the charred Halibut burger. Really good stuff.
  2. No, but if you can, then your reel is good to go.
  3. I fish it, monster smallies. 4 pounders.
  4. I ABSOULTELY love bass fishing, but I hunt Muskie, Trout and Walleye with the same amount of passion. I just love fishing in general, bass is just my favorite.
  5. already tried it man, works good. The line I put on it is only temporary though, I'm gonna be putting Seaguar on it, TATSU is probably gonna be my choice, I have a couple spools laying around.
  6. I have 5 new presidents and 5 old ones. I have tortured every one except the micro series. It's a d**n good reel. Nothing bad has come from ANY of them.
  7. Learning to fly fish effectively was difficult, but learning new waters is definitely the hardest.
  8. Thanks man! I already know I'll love it! I actually like this better than my Pfluegers.
  9. Well guys, I did it. I bought a Stradic. I saved up my money over the spring ( sorta ) for it and now I have it. CI4 3000 size with 14lb test Suffix Flurocarbon on a E21 Wild Black Carrot Stix Spinning Rod 6'7" Med Heavy rod. I have got to say.. I'm pretty happy. This is the first really expensive setup I've bought, I'm gonna be using it for multiple things but I might throw a jig on it to see how well it handles. It's SOOO light. The only thin I don't like is where the hook keeper is on the rod so I'm gonna change that. I'm done buying fishing stuff for the rest of the year. ( Famous last words ).
  10. I'm doing VA state Police when I'm 21.
  11. I paint John Boats, I am an extra hand on a farm, I can work with electricity, landscaper, and Lowes part time.
  12. This is the best craw anybody has ever made, http://www.river2seausa.com/t/clackincrayfish.html Also look at the Live Target Craw, expensive but worth it. Both absolutely kill smallmouth on the rivers and creeks.
  13. Occasionally as well, I use a Pflueger Micro on a Shimano Sellus 5'6" UL spinning rod. Eventually I wanna get a Micro Patriarch. I use 4 and 6lb Suffix Flurocarbon.
  14. Well my experience with it was pretty good, My grandfather used it and gave me a spool ( this was back in 07 ) I never really used it until last year. I put it on my Pflueger Supreme XT and boy I tell ya, that line has lasted forever. I have not had to respool it in over 15 months. I haven't had any signs of wear with it. The lady that runs the local tackle store here in fredericksburg gives me a 20% discount on everything I purchase.. She always says I'm cute so.. I guess that is an advantage. I use 15lb test. I also like Suffix Fluro; fan of suffix.
  15. Haha!! I know I'm spendy. I only spend my money on gas, my girlfriend, food, and fishing. When I'm off on my own I'll cut back on a lot... Haha.
  16. I don't even have an arch, I'm a 11 1/2 EEE size tennis shoe.
  17. I like it better than ST Croix!!!! I'm telling you dude, you'll be impressed. Eventually I'll switch all rods to Fenwick. The only rod that I have that's better than the Fenwick is my Loomis Bronzeback.
  18. My Uncle Ron, He's an old WW2 Veteran, he's pretty much my inspiration. He pushed me to achieve my goals and got me where I am today. Also on my list is Mark Davis or Ike.
