  1. That's a little over priced for a a Shock
  2. I swim for LC's.
  3. Again, people these days. Lol
  4. I've all ready gotten into a fight and threw a canteen at a jet skier that decieded to knock me out of my kayak. That woulda made me furious. People these days.
  5. Daiwa Strikeforce 100H. Best reel for the price and IMO, better than the Silvermax. I used that same set up as my frog rod for the longest time. Set it up with braid and out that baby to use! Topwater sounds like a good option for that rod.
  6. I sent it in to a local reel repair shop and the guy there has experience with the Saltwater drag systems for the Orvis line and he was able to " Saltwaterize " my Mach lll. It costed me a pretty penny of 40$ but he lowered the price because I'm always in his shop buying stuff. I can get this reel wet and dirty and no drag problems have happened so far. It voids the warrenty though. Not that I need it.
  7. The line I use is different for each application. Cranking: Clear 14lb Suffix Deep Crankin' Froggin: Hi-Vis Yellow 30-50lb PowerPro Super 8 Slick Spinnerbait: Clear 15lb Seaguar AbrazX Live Sunfish Rigs: Crystal Clear 17lb P-LINE C21 Soft Plastics: Hi-Vis Yellow 14lb Suffix Siege Jigs: Clear 14lb Suffix Invisiline Fluorocarbon Line I use for anything: Clear Sten and Triline both in 12lb test. Leaders: Clear 15lb Seaguar TATSU and Clear 20lb Suffix Wind-On Premium Mono Leader. What do you use?
  8. never caught one on a chatter bait.
  9. I want my Scooby Doo combo back. That thing made other kids envious.
  10. Coffee, it covers up my scent. Trust me, when I'm out on the kayak in the summer in the I smell. Haha.
  11. x2
  12. Agreed. It's like one big happy family on Bass Resource.
  13. This is my baby, aside from my girlfriend. Hahaha. TFO TiCr X, 7 wt, 9'0" and my Orvis Mach lll.
  14. #2 I have that rod and it casts like a cannon shoots a cannon ball.
  15. I like Suffix, Steez and Segaur. I buy about 25 spools a year and usually at least 1 has a defect. But not on that magnitude.
  16. A Redington will do just as good if not better. Just my opinion.
  17. I had a MHX UL, I liked it but I you'd have to ask someone with knowledge in the rod building field.
  18. He doesn't need to spend that much man. He's young haha.
  19. Well that's how I did it.
