  1. Mine came in the mail yesterday as well. 1/0 EWG's and the sticker. Very cool of Trokar. I will figure out a good use for the 1/0's and give em a go in a few weeks.
  2. 4 lber on a Craw. I'm hoping to increase that in a few weeks on Okeechobee!
  3. Right on. That, in firetiger always producded for me around dusk. I should find some more of those....
  4. Thanks my friend, appreciate the tip!
  5. That Rage craw with a weighted hook was deadly for me about 2 weeks ago down here as well RW. That is quickly becoming a super confidence bait for me.
  6. I've driven near Boynton canal more than a few times. Does anyone know a good place to drop a small trolling motor rigged jon in?
  7. I "re-learned" how to fish on small ponds, from the bank, with spinning reels with 8-10 lb line max. Small in-line spinners and t-rigged soft plastics on a 3/0 EWG should result in some tight lines pretty quickly!
  8. He hit the nail right on the head. I read it this morning actually and it left me thinking for a few. I hope more people learn to take his advice!
  9. Amen to that one. I had a trap come flying back while trying to get it loose, left a little dent mark on the side of my sunglasses. Scariest moment fishing without a doubt. Not only do I now always remember to keep on the sunglasses, even if I think I don't need them, but I've worked on better ways of getting unstuck!
  10. Thanks for the links buddy!
  11. Soft plastics are good to use every day you're on the water in my book. The senko's have been recommended, and I agree! They have become almost must have for many bass anglers. I'd also throw in Rage Craws. My confidence is growing in those bad boys daily. Texas rigged or jig trailer, it's an amazing bait. Just grab some plastics of any variety though and experiement. There is almost no wrong way!
  12. Took the jon out on the local lake today, caught 10 in about 4 hours or so. Started off windy and clear, then the clouds rolled in for a while before clearing up, finally got chased out by lightning. Caught 'em on senkos, ocho's and t-rigged rage craws (weighted hooks). Tried using a red eye shad to locate, wasn't happening. They were scattered around docks or holding tight to any type of cover available. Saw some empty beds, no big momma's. Biggest catch of the day was 3.5 - 4 lbs.
  13. Good to know, thanks Sirsnook!
  14. Thank you sir!
