  2. Just got back from my stay at Tall Timber on Back Lake. I had the fortunate opportunity to be there as the hex hatch was at its prime! Conditions were awesome about 830pm the water was like glass and started to boil with trout in all directions. Caught some tiny bass and a few nice rainbows! This lake is a definite must to hit up if you get the chance.... ><>
  3. maybe try a smaller hook

  9. not from around there but if you go on google and search the town you are in it will give you a satellite image of the area which show you everything from an overhead view. Very handy and useful way to find places to fish. good luck!

  11. Has anyone fished Mount William Pond in Weare, NH? I heard its a designated trout pond that gets stocked and it has smallmouth as well. Just wondering if you have fished there? Just looking for some feedback, i havent yet been there but i want to. thanks ><>
  12. try plastic baits, spinners and small crank baits...
  13. Bucket Mouths
  14. I was wondering if anyone had any homemade fish bait recipes that they were willing to share? I generally fish for trout, bass, pickerel so anything that applies that would be great to know. I have heard you can use cheez whiz with some other added ingredients but I havent come across an actual recipe to make something. Thank you ahead a time for your suggestions. ><>
  15. you can try to change the size of the plastic bait or lure that you are using. Go from small to big (vice versa). Also as stated above, keep getting that bait in the fishes face and annoy it until it strikes. If it leaves the bed leave the bait there in the bed until it returns. Slow movement (twitches), slow retrieval and patience. lol fish on!
  16. Whats your thought? Since we have had an unseasonably warm winter what do all of you think, will bass spawn alittle earlier this year than normal? I live in southern NH. Every body of water around has been completely iced out for a few weeks now. We have had a some really warm days lately as well.
  17. I see from everyones posts that they are good for smallmouth but what about largemouth and trout? thank everyone for your feedback!
  18. I was just wondering if anyone has used hellgrammites as bait? If you have, are they a good bait to use? Any info would be appreciated, thanks!
