    Maybe I'm confused, but doesn't tying a leader onto braided line just reduce the strength of your set up to the strength of the leader? ie 65# braid with 15# monofilament leader is only as strong as the mono?

    A goose the other day. Crossed my line and got tangled in the hook.

    Best- know what it feels like when you don't have a fish on the line, anything different, set the hook.
