  1. Did Swains today 3 fish, nothing on the beds and the water was high from all the rains we've had. Had some gale force winds that makes it fun to be on the lake. Bad day to wear my shorts.
  2. This works for me to post a picture onto the forum posts. Get your picture to your Gallery 1st step get it onto the Bass Resorces page 1 click your screen name up top 2 click my gallery 3 click upload then choose where the picture file is from on your computer. Posting a picture to the Forum. 1 Click on a blank reply box 2 above where you would type in that box you will see a icon labeled as "my media" click on that. a box will pop open 3 click on gallery images on the left 4 click on the picture you want to put onto the forum 5 you will now see a file name in the reply box press the enter key so you can type something about that picture. 6 click post and now everyone will see your fish. Hope this helps.
  3. Well looks like the weekend just might be a wash out for me. I gave up rain fishing when I retired from tournament fishing .
  4. Great weekend of fishing did two days on Great East. Took some people new to bass fishing today and they both caught 4 to 3 pound size fish all day. I added with a couple more 5 pound fish to make ten total for me for the day. Saturday I volunteered my time and boat for the Dover Garrison school touch a truck day. well over 300 kids climbed a board and had fun with everything (horn, raising and lowering the motor, live well aerator) including some rubber ducks in the live well filled with water. We all must remember its the future generation we must impress upon how great the outdoors really is.

  6. Nice day at Great East fish were on and off the beds including this 6lber
  7. Yes a great lake, been fishing there about 40 yrs. It also is a very hard lake to fish and find the big guys. They never hole up in the same places. I have a pic on here someplace with one that was 6.2 my best for this lake.
  8. Can't wait for the weekend to get here. Bringing my boat to the Dover touch a truck event for the kids to jump around in. Then fishing Great East Lake.
  9. I will have to try it out this week then. Looking at the topo looks like the islands at the Southeast and the west side shore area for largemouth?
  10. Has anyone fished Northwood lake? I am thinking of option #2 if the Bow Lake boat ramp is full. It seems Northwood lake has better parking arrangements for boats.
  11. No fishing today, Going to spent it with my wife for mom's day. But plan to be out the next couple afternoons after work I just might make a trip to Bow to see what it is like.
  12. Did Swains yesterday for a couple hours before the wind moved in. Bass were cruising the shore line a couple on beds but not biting, overall caught 13. some coves had water temps at 71 2ft below the surface.
  13. I want to fish Bow Lake how is the ramp there?
  14. Yes there is a nice one take 109 to Lee rd then take a left on Lees Mill rd. I like it up there because it's quiet there even during the busy summer time. Just don't power load your boat they will fine you.

My father with his favorite color gitzit.
  16. Was a good day fishing at Winni (Lee MIlls) took my father with me total 16 fish, Most on blade runner jigs with rage crawdad for the trailers. My dad still catches them on a chartreuse gitzit ugliest thing if you ask me but he gets them. Smallies were right near the shore. I also saw two beds nothing on them so wont be long now up there. Crawdad color seemed to be the go to color for me. The weather man lied it was windy up there
  17. Did two hours at Swains yesterday, managed 2 bass on a gitzit. Winnipesaukee bound today with my father. It will be at Lee Mills less boat traffic and great fishing.

  19. A good map! Use the GPS as a guide. I have always like the Lee Mills area it's a haul depending on where you launch I launch right there.. Winter Harbor has some awesome smallies at the entrance on the north side.
  20. Heading to Winni my self this Sat will be in the Lee Mills area.
  21. Just home from fishing Swains today 13 fish biggest about 2 1/2, There wasn't really one bait that got them all just had to work for them today. When the wind hit it stopped.
  22. Using a fish finder on a new lake I first look at a map http://www.wildlife.state.nh.us/Fishing/bathy_maps.htm to locate points off the shore, a lot of time structure builds up on that. Look for rock piles just off islands. Once I do know the shore line I turn the fish finder off. I am a firm believer the big bass can hear the pinging. But that's just my opinion
  23. You guys are killing me with all those pictures of springtime bass. Will be heading out next week after I set up the boat and make sure I didn't forget anything.
  24. A wacky rigged senko un weighted gets them all the time here, I use different color o-rings also. A red o-ring on a 5 inch green pumpkin won me a lunker tournament last year wieghing in almost 7lbs
