  1. Im diggin my chronarch 51e on my cumara...
  2. You have to fill out all your shipping and payment info first, then you'll see the area to put in your coupon code before you pay.
  3. Speaking of chronarch's, fedex just dropped this 51e off 30 minutes ago, this reel is sweet...
  4. Id go with the fenwick smallmouth rod, hard to beat for the money...
  5. Ill also add, i hate the knobs on the lews tp....
  6. I had a lews tp and now have a curado and chronarch 51. I like the lighter weight of the lews reel and the cf handle, i just think the shimanos feel more quality in my hand. I like the lews reel alot though and you can get killer deals on ebay, i dont think you can go wrong with either one. Best thing to do is get both of them in your hands and see what feels better to you....
  7. Was listening to music on youtube and a coupon popped up on the side, lol. Enter this code while checking out on there website and you get 15% off 15CART2012 I got three sets of abec 7's for my 3 new shimano 51's
  8. I almost pulled the trigger on one on ebay for $104 shipped. I played with the lexa's at a local fishing show, definitely a quality reel for the money. My problem is i started playing with the zillions and cores and the expensive reels and forgot about the lexa real quick, lol. Ill probally pick one u in the future though...
  9. I just got that book on amazon for $5, cant wait to read it.
  10. I always start with top water, either a Sammy or hornytoad. If no bites I go to jerkbaits, then lipless cranks, then senkos, then shakeyhead/drop shot. This method usually works well for me.
  11. Haha, nice, I don't feel so bad now, lol.
  12. There both sweet rods, that's a hard pick...
  13. haha, it used to be the car monkey, then it was the motorcycle monkey, now the bait monkey wont let go !!
  14. Never surf TW while drinking beer, picked up a 6'6 med kistler mag to pair up with my curado for $89... Ive officially cut off my fishing spending
  15. If your looking for gloves, get the dr shade gloves at TW, there great.
  16. Id throw dropshot or wacky 4 inch senkos...
  17. Nice. Im gonna put the chronarch on my 6'3 medium cumara reaction rod, ill probally just throw 1/4 lipless cranks and smaller crankbaits. Then the core is going on the 6'5 cumulus, im really excited to get out there with that combo, its gonna be so d**n light. Ill probally throw jerkbaits and topwater. So that means i need to find a rod for the curado, i have my eye on a 6'10 crucial spinnerbait rod, it feels perfect for 3/8-5/8oz baits...
  18. I have used the 10-20lb berkley pro and loved it. Pretty similar to power pro...
  19. Nice fish !!!
  20. lol, ill never put down the spinning rods, love it too much. A conquest would be nice but thats out of my price range...
  21. I love a ci4 on an older cumara. In the sun it just looks sooo good together.
  22. Ive read a few threads that said the samething, the curado and chronarch are the same reel with just a different paintjob. So i couldnt pass on a chronarch for $150 at TW so now ill have a curado, chronarch, and core to play around with this year. All will have hawgtech handles and probally 10lb flouro or mono.
  23. Thanks for the info guys
  24. What is the heaviest bait you can throw on these reels before you need to step up to a 100/200 size reel ? Is 3/8-1/2oz about the max ? Thanks for any info.
  25. Well ive only handled a core twice. Ive had a curado before so i knew what i was expecting picking up this 51e. If the core performs better than this reel, and is almost 1.5oz's lighter i think im going to love it, lol. I spooled this up with 8lb mono then switched to 20lb super slick braid and my casting distance dropped immensely. I think im putting mono back on...
