  1. LOL, ya, the W.H. got so many senseless petitions that it now requires 100,000 votes before making a response.
  2. Yes, anything along those lines. I knew a landowner that got large chunks of concrete debris from a road construction site for free. Is Roland Martin still down there? If so, look him up and see if he'll offer some advice.
  3. IMHO the best answer I can give you is to check with your states Department of Natural Resources for their advice, they may even help with access to yearling's. Go to their web site, look for their Fisheries page, and shoot off an email to their fisheries Biologist. What's a nearby town? I'll look for a link and let you know. EDIT: Try the Fla Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission at: Website: http://MyFWC.com (external link) Address: 620 South Meridian Street Tallahassee, FL 32399-1600 Email: email.fwc@MyFWC.com Phone: Fax: 850-488-4676 850-488-1961
  4. X2, I feel a lot better about BPS now; but think their corporate structure, policies, and procedures needs a little tweaking. just maybe, emails do work
  5. From reading your description of your rig you should be fine. If you in the D.c. Metro area try 66 to 81 south as Fishing Rhino suggests, I've done it and it was a good drive. Two suggestions, 1. keep a open distance in front of you on the interstates and look out for truck tire tread flying at you 2. insure your trailer tire pressure is correct. Low pressure is the main cause of trailer tire blowouts. Get a good tire pressure gage that's easy to use and read. A tip I'm trying is using a Infer Red Thermometer (Fluke 62 Mini) to read hub and tire temps at rest stops. Hopefully I'll spot a problem before it gets out of hand.
  6. I have a Ranger 185 with the spare tire mounted vertically on the starboard side just in front of the fiberglass fender. Never had a problem with it interfering with launch or retrieval. However, it does interferer with sighting the starboard trailer tire and hub while driving, so I can't see if the tire is going flat or if the hub is smoking. I did have a hub smoking on the port side one day but was able to spot it in the rear view mirror. If I had the choice I would mount the spare horizontally under the bow.
  7. Does this mean that Bass resource needs to change it's logo?????? Boycott is on, I have no need to enter a BPS this year, I can get everything I need elsewhere. Green Top, here I come
  8. What the H, the Simple Life Outfitters logo is nothing like the BPS! The Simple Life Outfitters is a circle with three fish and their lettering is circular, the BPS is an oval with in-line lettering. BPS must have another agenda, maybe they just don't want another outdoor apparel store in the area. Not cool at all, I'm really disappointed in BPS.
  9. X2, I think it's a federal law about trafficking Snakeheads; your friend could face charges. Please check with your states Department of Natural Resources before doing anything with Snakeheads. Here in MD they have killed off entire ponds to eliminate the Snakeheads.
  10. Male Logic A wife asks her husband, "Could you please go shopping for me and buy one carton of milk and if they have avocados, get 6." A short time later the husband comes back with 6 cartons of milk. The wife asks him, "Why did you buy 6 cartons of milk?" He replied, "They had avocados." If you're a woman, I'm sure you're going back to read it again! Men will get it the first time. My work is done here.
  11. X2, Anyone have the digital scale they use, how accurate is it? The last show I saw I was asked to mute the sound when they showed M.I. ranting; my ten year old granddaughter says "there is something seriously wrong with that man" so she will not watch any shows that have him.
  12. I agree, some chat rooms get overwhelmed by politics, religion, gun's, or just plain BS. The PM's here are better cause you can talk about each other behind their back.
  13. I would probably just get my butt in trouble.
  14. Cool. Saw something like this at E-Systems in Dallis, TX back in the 80's but it was a ski-boat customized in the back of a motor home. The credit union had repossessed it and put it up for sale at their office.
  15. Nope, fresh water, salt water, boat registry, park pass,,,, it's all based on the same personal data. Problem is, like the young woman two doors down from me, when you loose your identity it takes a lot of time off of work to go to banks, courthouses, etc. to cancel or close all accounts, and she had a hard time proving who she was; she was frustrated to tears at several places. Someone you never met can wipe you out, as they did her.
  16. The real problem is the DNR it requiring too much personal info when it's not required. Why do they need your SSN as ID when they also ask for your Driver License Number. DNR reports your SSN is required by MD law so you have to submit. The S.S. Administration states your number should not be used as an ID like it so often is. Also, if what I read is correct, a contractor firm is holding your info in their system while they manage COMPASS for the DNR, but DNR will not tell you anything about them. If that data bank gets hit by hackers your personal ID is gone!
  17. Wait for it,,,, it's yet too early to hear about someone that took a gun to their families just because they feared the future.
  18. This is like New Years day 2000 when everyone believed the world would fall into turmoil because computers would screw up the date. The Embassy in Moscow filled it's hallways with cots, MRE's and water so employees could hunker down if the city went mad.... Nothing happened, what a let down....
  19. Ya, he shined his halo some today, he'll have to put in some extra hours to get it back to where it was. Merry Christmas everyone ( can I say that here, or should I just say Xmas??? )
  20. That's one of my favorite quotes. Unfortunately, in this case they have, I sick of this chit.
  21. 03:20L and I'm still here I wish the world would end, I don't like our new society; so stop the world I want off..
  22. Welcome to the Forum, hang out & enjoy.
  23. What happens when the leather gets wet, and then drys out?
