  1. 2 Shimano Symetre spinning reels both bail arms broke on the same day and have searched the Interweb and all I can find is $31 for a bail arm. Is the Shimano bail arm the same on other models? $31 for a bail arm is NUTS when I can buy a new reel for twice that.
  2. I own 3 bionic blade 7' ML with cork handles and 2 bionic blade micro 7' M Fast and one 6' L action spinning rods and love everyone of them. I would steer you to a Medium or Medium Heavy more universal for multiple techniques. Very light and sensitive, balanced (IMO).
  3. they offer the crankin stick in 7' in fast and xfast tips....which is your preference? I actually bought the 7'6" MH xf and have yet to throw it.
  4. BPS Bionic blade micro...in 7' Medium. you will love it....very universal with many techniques from drop shot, jerks to cranks, spy baits and 7' MH for jigs.
  5. QUAKEnSHAKE....what site is it?
  6. Lots of talk of the Pre-rapala wiggle warts and their "hunting" action. I want some opinions of whether to buy the scatter raps or start acquiring the pre-rapala warts?

  9. It was John Cox.....I just can't seem to find the video for it. thinking its 2011 or 2012.
  10. There was a tourney a number of years ago where the pro angler switched to an aluminum boat and had to shimmy into a drainage tube? I think he might have ended up winning. It wasn't mark menendez. For some reason that memory came back to me and now I have to see the video. what tournament was it?
  11. Just got the 7'6" MH xfast it should be plenty for deep cranks....I am not sure the advantage over the 7' but it sure is a nice feeling rod. Still ice on the water so I gotta wait to wet the line.
  12. spooling my first ever baitcaster BPS Pro Qualifier 4.7:1 and I spooled it with 10lb Power Pro braid. I have more than an 1/8th of an inch (more like a 1/4 inch from the lip) with all 150 yards of braid. Will that be ok? or should I un-spool and add some mono backing then re-spool so its closer to the lip of spool?
  13. Just got my first baitcaster BPS Pro Qualifier 4.7:1 and am wondering what I need or should do to get it ready for action?? When do they or should they get a bearing upgrade? I watched a video on upgrading bearings and this guy could spin the handle and it would spin for like a minute...mine only spins for a couple of seconds....why?
  14. I am purchaising an 898 or 998 hummingbird unit and am wondering where the "good deals" are hiding....any suggestions?
  15. I own a Crestliner Fish hawk SC 16'8" and cannot afford a new custom trailerable cover...just looking for quality and affordable alternatives.
  16. I am looking for "clear" and variations of clear for replacing skirts on some spinnerbaits. Any suggestion as to where I can acquire?
  17. I have a few cranks SK xd series (3,5,6) and want to replace the split rings and trebles....I like the KVD 1x strong 2x short triple grips but wonder what are the CORRECT sizes for each?
  18. I like the Plano waterproofs or Bass mafia's....but what about for terminal tackle and the dreaded mixing of tackle???
  19. Bought a BPS Pro Qualifier 4.7:1 baitcaster and the spool is listed it can hold 12lb@150 yards...I am in Ultra Clear water and was going to use 8lb mono. How much do I put on so I do not have issues?
  20. I am joining a Bass club this year. I am entering as a co-angler so that I can learn and up my game. I am looking for advice on do's and don'ts and catching fish behind someone else.
