  1. I have my CI4+ high speed on a 7'2MHXF Cumara A and it is the perfect pair for bass, even looks good together. For inshore you may want something heavier like the *** Green
  2. A lot of times retailers run sales that exclude certain brands but have notes that say call for deals we cannot advertise.. sometimes it is in you benefit to make the phone call i have lucked out a couple times with some awesome customer service people. The Tatulas are priced cheaper around in part because of their proposed high margins. One of the reps was talking about it in one of their preview videos leading up its release. It seems like it is working out well for them and the end user because if they are making more money on high sales numbers and the retailers are still making somewhat of a profit giving customers a sale. I believe it is called marginal utility theory if my college econ is still embedded in my head somewhere lol.
  3. I had a lews tourney pro and it casted incredibly with ease. Handled a wide range of baits and was super smooth. the brakes were a bit squirely i usually use shimano. This could be because i was so used to using the shimano though. That being said i have read that the spring loaded variations were probably the reason compared to the more free flowing brakes on the vbs shimanos. It was super convenient having the magnetic for the wind. I really liked the reel but had to return it at day 88 in the 90 period because the drag started clicking and slipping on me. I was pretty bummed i really liked it.
  4. i have the 72mhxf Cumara A with a chronarch ci4+ and definitely do not regret it. the crucials get a little tip heavy so you may want a chronarch e to balance that out the crucial bit better. the crucials have more double foot guides so it weighs them more compared to the kr guides on the new cumara. if you were throwing spinnerbaits or other reactions baits i would tell you to go with the crucial it is lower modulus so would probably take that particular style of abuse better and you dont need as much feel for those techniques. the 72mhxf is plenty powerful and durable at the end of last season i didnt have any fluro and was using 50lb braid flipping and throwing frogs just to see what it could do. it is really sensitive and i actually like the reel seat it feels right with the ci4+. i have a glx 853 i use for lighter trigs and it isnt quite that but the cumara a is more sensitivity than most probably need the feel is fantastic. it definitely more sensitive than the st croix legend tournament which i would rate higher than the crucials.
