  1. I would get a 7 foot medium heavy. In lily pads you are going to want at elast a half ounce weight to get it down quick so the heavier rod will be best. For reel, I would say a 6.3:1 or something like that. Hope this helps!
  2. Nicholas Turner Address and phone by request Bassfisher152@gmail.com Objective: To obtain a sponsorship with freshwater tackle companies, with the mission of increasing their angling product market share. By participating in tournaments, I have become familiar with specific techniques and product use that I have utilized with success. On a number of occasions, I have been sought out and asked for advice by other competitors. Given my age, I feel that this is more than an accomplishment. I feel I can reach a portion of the market yet untapped that of the youthful angler. I have given speeches in both youth and adult settings on the angling experience. Experience: 2006-2007 American Bass Association Tournament Series. 2006-2007 Angler's Choice Team Circuit. 2006-2007 Multiple open tournaments in California Awards and Placing: Big Fish award, 9.06 Largemouth Bass Multiple Top 5 finishes (co-angler) Commitment: I am willing and able to man booths and make appearances to demonstrate and promote angling products at shows and other venues. Education: 2006-Present Villanova Preparatory School (3.8 GPA)
  3. California Bass Fishing Resume: Hello, my name is Nick and I have been fishing for about 3 years now. I own a Ranger bass boat complete with electronics and trolling motor. I am currently involved in local and state operated tournaments in my home state of California. I am fortunate enough to live near 3 trophy bass lakes: Lake Casitas (Oak View), Lake Cachuma (Santa Ynez), and Lake Castaic (Castaic). I have great experience in 2 of the three lakes and hope to get more practice time on the third this year. I fish 2-3 times a week with my father. For those who may not be familiar with bass fishing in California, it is not unlike other areas around the country. The fishermen around here rely heavily on the advice of other anglers. Personally I think that most of the weekend anglers I know rarely experiment with new baits and colors. Therefore, I could spread the word about a bait and be almost certain they will try the same. Right now, and for the majority of the year, the most popular baits are swimbaits and plastic jigs, such as spider jigs. I will be willing to assist the company in any way I can to develop the best performing equipment and customer satisfaction. I am personal friends with owners of tackle shops in my area and I am sure they are interested in distributing a product that I promote.
