  1. Falcon Bucoo With micro guide's.!! 129 at wal mart
  2. my wal mart has shimano citica's, curado's, pflueger president spinning reels, Skeet reese reels, adrent reels, Falcon rods, berkely lightin shock rods, skeet reese rods, KVD rods, and abu garcia rods. Their tackle is also starting to get better. Looks like a better deal that bps to me at the moment.
  3. Currently, I have two good rod/reels. Both are baitcaster's. Shimano Citica's. one is on a 7' Custom rod MH, The other on a 6'6 Team diawa pro bass model. I'm buying two good spinning set-ups. One I want a pflueger president with 8 lb test. The other reel, I'm undecided on, Maybe The newer BPS extreme? I'm open to suggestions. Need suggestions on rods also. One I want to be able to fish for Crappie, Bluegill and bass. I'm leaning towards the president with 8 lb line for this. The other just crappie and bass. Could the president with the right rod be able to be fished with, plastic's, Cranks, spinnerbaits?
  4. Howdy y'all, My name is Dustin and love fishing! 25 years old, But been fishing ever since I could hold a rod. I went on every fishing trip with my papaw's, uncles, and dad that they ever went on since I was born. Break down of my family's fishing style.. Papaw; Old timer loves him catfish and walleye. He don't bass fish much, But when he does, He can catch some big large and smallmouths. He releases every bass. Uncle; Loves catfish, walleye, bluegill, crappie and bass. Fished for'em all. Dad; Bluegill and crappie. Me; Big time bass man, I release all bass big or small. I can wear out, crappie, bluegill, bass, and catfish. I've never EVER caught a walleye, But its on my list! I'm getting married this may, To the most beautiful girl in the world, She means the world to me, And was sent from god. I love you michelle! I don't own a boat, But I'm buyin' a new jon boat next week-end, Decided on a 14' lowe. Look forward to talkin' to y'all!
  5. Agreed, I don't like trailering at at! I'd rather just throw in the bed and go. Plus, I fish alot of mountain ponds.
  6. As for storage, I have no where to park a boat and a trailer. I'd rather have a aluminum boat rather than plastic, And I'd rather just get a new boat, So I know it has/or had no issuses. Like I said, It'll just be two people in the boat, With little gear/weight. Just stuck on rather to get a 12 or 14. Only mods I'd go for is carpet, And some seat's. Thanks for y'alls help.
  7. Howdy y'all, just found this site while looking for jon boat information. I was lookin' to buy a jon boat, Tracker topper in 12,- 14 foot. Which would be better? I know longer, and wider it would be more stable. I only plan to fish my local park ponds, And other local ponds, There would no boat traffic just maybe one or two other jon boaters. I don't want a trailer, So would a 12 or 14 foot jon boat fit in the bed of a 2001 chevy silverado 2500 hd ext cab? It would be me and my fiancee, 2-3 rods, cooler, TM/battery. Weight shouldn't be a problem, I weigh 155, And she is around 104. Any and all advice would be nice! Thanks, Y'all!
