I am not a hamster that runs on tread mills / belts. I am much better now. So I can do yardwork & finish up a outside generator shed & fuel storage shed also. I like changing tasks. Up & down basement stairs 10 to 20 times a day on some projects. I keep things far enough apart, to keep more active.
I had a pair on a HV power pole nest nearby. They would follow me around by picking off any fish. That got to close to the moving lure. Scare me every time. ?
They knew how deep that lure ran. And figured out the fish WAS NOT looking out for a attack.
I have " restocked " many times in 84 years. It was usually when tough financial times occurred. Some turn to alcohol, cigarettes' and drugs. I turn to fishing gear & boats. I am not perfect either. ?
Peace time USN & excellent food at sea. We picked up Flying Fish every hour all nights. Ate them every day if wanted. Excellent cooks aboard our ship. LIG at sea.

I have determined AHEAD of time...........Where I will run my boat up onto the beach, if a sudden squall front comes. Beached 3 boat in N J Barnegat Bay. I Do it before the wind and waves take control.
I tell family or friends if I will leave the bay in front of us. I have 911 ......in phone as AAA 911 so it come up first...........Also have hand held VHF radio locked to local US C G station and maximum power level.
After those all fail ? Drag the water for my body.
I troll with both a 9.9 or a 30 hp. Size & speed means NOTHING to a SMB that wants your lure. I have about a very fast walking speed with the 30 hp. PERFECT SPEED !! IF IF IF You realize that most fish are NOT attracted to a boat exhaust noise underwater. So how do I catch them going so fast ? Can not tell you because the meat guys would wipe out whole areas.
The impossible takes us a little longer.
Enjoy a lot of sincere help. From those who KNOW the fish ARE GETTING smarter to attacking any lure without sizing it up.
I have accepted a fact. That I have to wait for the fish. To get carelessly hungry and attack high speed lures.
Schooling ANIMALS. Deer or fish only eat so much of a area up in 1 feeding. They can eat enough to make it to the next stop for a munching. I have a lot of roving schools of all types doing that.
